Jalen Ramsey is 6'1" and he was getting burned on more than one occasion.

Duke Shelley is a decent corner I guess by all accounts. It's weird how so many were wanting the team to get a waiver wire pickup and when they do it's met with jeers. Like dafuq do you want them to do??
Right?

Oh BTW that guy on the YouTube clip sees exactly what I've been spouting all off season. Also again look at the top 4 CBs they have some real talent there. Now add in Fuller and Johnson, they have talent and experience at safety.

The only question mark on offense has always been the OL. That is fixed with Dotson and Avila. They should be able to run and pass protect. I like Jackson at LT but he's still raw in areas but by the end of the year and especially next year he's going to be very good.

Don't sleep on the Rams or you will regret it.
I'm digging your optimism. Like it. Cheers

So Jolly has been waived with an injury....So this signing makes even more sense now.

Is height really that much of a factor? Name these three past players...

Height:5 ft 11 in (1.80 m)
Weight:198 lb (90 kg)

Height:5 ft 11 in (1.80 m)
Weight:184 lb (83 kg)

Height:5 ft 9 in (1.75 m)
Weight:180 lb (82 kg)

Is quickness important? Mental quickness? Awareness of how plays are developing? What if we ask a player to cover a variety of different zones from a variety of different alignments?

FYI, in that order
Darrell Revis
Leroy Irvin
Antoine Winfield

I am looking forward to seeing how they use each CBs skill set as we have a nice array of talent who we are told display great play recognition. If the safeties play as I expect, and we don’t suffer coverage breakdowns, we might really have something
How about Darrel Green 5’9” 185 lbs oh and HOF.

As do the whiners and they're game 2. Let's steal two early and roll.

What can I say? I'm an optimist.
The board needs more optimism. But the experts on the board will say you’re a homer. I mean wouldn’t you expect a Rams board to have more optimistic tone ? Unfortunately the sky is falling has been the theme. I’m still optimistic. Maybe it misses me when it falls. It could happen.

Rant:

I'm so fuckin tired of small DBs. I'm so fuckin tired of getting ran over and through by physical teams and players.

And they continue the trend of getting small dudes.

God damn.
Yeah… we need more big DBs like Robert Rochell.

Personally don't give a damn about height or speed. Give me corners that can cover and break up a pass or pick one off. Screw all the other shit unless the guy can cover.

It's everywhere on every team bro. The fact that the term "homer" exists without Simpson right after should tell you everything. Football is supposed to be fun.

Which we know is BS.
Because YOU know everything.

Luckily for us rod rams fans. :)
Well maybe ? What I do know is what I’ve seen. If your judging anything The Rams have done in the preseason your miss informed.
Year after year watching The Rams in training camp there are a lot of things that can be picked up on.

The 2023 Rams offense is unique & watching the evolution is something special.

Whether I’m right or wrong I have a pure vision.I can add this & this as that.

I can admit when I’m wrong. Posting about Copeland being underrated!!

I was right about #44 & the new #44 will be starting.#51 Made the team & I’m sure #93 will find his way onto the field.

Seeing Copeland released has me thinking a bunch of different ways.He was brought back as a FA,& The Rams didn’t bring many FA players back.Seeing him as a Rams starter in training camp painted a different picture.

It is obvious they added Shelley because of the injury to Jolly & IMO, Shelley is an upgrade. They are the same size, but Shelley has played in far more games (not sure Jolly was ever active) and hopefully is game ready.
