The soft coverage clearly limits Donalds effectiveness in terms of collecting sacks.
Quick throws, QB not holding the ball, endless 2nd and 4's open up the whole play book etc.
I get the bend don't break concept.....but, it was based on having an offense that it stood to reason, would score 28 points a game or so.

Again, this makes little sense. The one time I can see this approach being smart is when you're playing a Chiefs type offense. They made the Chiefs work for everything and with a healthy offense we win that game.

If your offense is firing on all cylinders, why not play aggressively on D? This way, when it works, you get the ball back quick for your offense. On the rare occasions they burn you, you STILL get the ball back quick for your offense. Over the course of an entire game, you come out WAY ahead.

And I HATE the impact it has in terms of tiring out our D, and not allowing our O to get in rhythm. Basically, bad bad bad, and a little more bad idea.

The soft coverage defense could have kept AD from any chance of getting a fourth DPOY award. Which would have made history. I’m disappointed about that.

Plus NFL teams have adjusted to the match quarters defense and it’s not as effective against good teams that have good coaches.

Interesting how different fans respond and look at things.

The disappointment and frustration of this brutal season may actually result in me watching less of my favorite sport. However, I will watch every play of the Rams' season. I may not look forward to it; and, probably, will not enjoy much of it ... but ... I will watch.

Just the way I look at things. No right and wrong. As a lifetime, die-hard Rams' fan, I feel like it's my responsibility. Also feel like I have experienced it All ... super-highs, awful-lows (short-term and long-term for both), bad teams expected to be good, terrific teams out-of-nowhere.

For me, enduring the bad seasons (and this one is up-there), makes the good ones even more satisfying.

I am only this way with the Rams and the NFL. It's a little insane but I also do volunteer work.

Yea I much rather watch a team that's actually trying to win, I don't believe the rams are. Maybe some ppl like watching preseason games but I'm not one of them and I don't see any talent on the team that's worth watching. I could take it back then but that was only because we had Jackson but now? Nobody is worth watching on this team.

Also spent so many years only getting to watch one or two games per season... now I get to follow my team for every game.

Maybe it's just the damn horn helmets. They've had some weird mystical power over me ever since I was 8 years old.

Part of the reason the SB victory was so sweet is because most of us stayed loyal and passionate even thru the shitty 7-9 bullshit (and worse).

I don't anticipate a complete rebuild...we have great pieces and a solid base. But to see if/how/when we reset and regroup and get back to kicking ass is one of the great joys of the game for me.

I don't expect much from these guys, but as long as their is effort and signs of growth and shit to build on, that's all you can ask for from this group

I was 5 but the rest is so true to how I have spent my years as a Rams fan. That '79 Superbowl was such a huge event in my life and such a disappointment after we really HAD the mighty Steelers. That was the last time I bet on the Rams winning a playoff game.

Every Sunday I think we're going to win. And that will never change.

I have not missed a minute of a regular season RAMS game since 1998.

It has most to do with what I want from this team. And if I can't give them 1020 minutes of my time a year, why on earth why would I expect for them to give me 525,600?

I have been recording Ram games since October seeing the downward trend ......if I have the stomach & the desire to get I watch the games picking out young possibly promising Ram players who are on the field for the first time to single out. This offers me some entertainment on these 2022 Ram games. I am looking forward not backward to how Snead/McVay reconstructs this team into a possible playoff team in 2023 with what good players still remain under contract.

Wasting the valuable limited time I have on this earth on a present caliber NFL team is a serious form of mental disorder.

Seeing this Org. enter this 2022 season with Evans as his valued reserve should have given me a clue as to what was going to occur this season with this OL. I have to kudos to Evans ...he has proven he is a Super Ironman! unlike Noteboom, Allen, Anchrum & Shelton.

Been a good period of time (Five seasons) for you & me here where we have suffered thru seasons like this with so many other former past GM's & HC's. We had gotten used to winning often. Our schedule was impossible to overcome in comparison to i.e.the KC Chiefs.

I have not read or heard much from Snead now for months... have you?

Speaking for myself here ...My thought on Snead's last half-decade of 2nd day draft selections is very poor. His present resume IMO is damaged. Likewise so is McVay & his 2022 assembled coaching team. It's going to be interesting to see just how many of these coaches are promoted elsewhere, or hired elsewhere when this season concludes. Will other teams GM's see the injury excuse or not? I do think that their time as being recognized as top-tier NFL GM's & HC's is tainted.

A lot of player mysteries this season too on this team involving DB Jordan Fuller, DB Rob Rochell, TuTu Atwell, DB Quenton Lake, ER Daniel Hardy, DB Decobie Durant & DB Terrell Burgess (released & playing elsewhere).

Hard to get hurt when Evans whiffs on blocks so often....maybe it was a business choice? Lol

I think the Rams are systematically shutting down their best players and saving them for next season. It's the same philosophy that McVay uses in pre-season. Just watch, Ramsey will pull a hamstring next game.
