I'd rather just see what the kids can do. Davante loves Mumpfield. Daniels was highly regarded by the Rams (trading three picks, albeit late round picks, to take him). Whittington is going into his third year, where wide receivers prototypically break out or show you who they really are.
And Tru Edwards is a personal favorite of mine as far as UDFAs: insane catch radius, bigger than a lot of our receivers (6'3", 211 lbs.), productive in his final year in college, has experience on special teams, and has NFL bloodlines (Troy Edwards, a really good receiver in his own right who won the 1998 Biletnikoff award, is his dad and also played a season with us.). Mario and Presley also are interesting receivers in their own right, and all three of those UDFA receivers scored a meaningful touchdown in the last preseason.
No, I'd rather let the kids show what they can do. Unless it's a receiver who is around that 25/26 years old range, I'm fine with rolling with who we have.
