WHY ARE WE DOING THIS???

We saw the game...4 doggone fumbles, and snap over Stafford's head against a good team with the GOAT at QB.

It was the 9er game all over except that game was lost because the Ram OLine went to lunch and the Ram defense forgot how to tackle.

We gotta admit that our team loses focus when they need GO FOR THE THROAT!

That is all....

Before yesterday, Cam Akers had 244 touches as a pro and only one fumble. Hopefully, yesterday was just a fluke.

Maybe I was wrong. He doesn't have a fumbling problem. I thought that was an issue with him.

Apologies to Cam.

I am going to answer the OPs question with two words….

Don’t fumble.

If we didn't turn the ball over four times and have the ball hiked halfway down the field, this is a blowout. Sometimes turnovers can be like a bug and a couple of players can catch it at the same time. We just beat the World Champions and we are talking about McVay's play calling? I'm sure he didn't say, "It's your turn, Kupp. Let them have it."

Playoffs are pure survival. McVay is right that there are no style points. Each game is a fucking minefield of randomized shit and you gotta navigate through it and survive.

Stafford basically just did what they traded for him to do. He stopped that chain of bullshit, and I don't mean to say he did it himself it was everyone else out there too. But having a QB who can put up ballsy throws during that critical 4 minute window is something that magnifies greatly in value when you find yourself in that moment.

Would have been nice if they would have finished the beatdown. The offense really didn't get stopped very much by Tampa, they moreso stopped themselves with the turnovers. But BS like this has a way of shaping the team going forward and maybe a tough win like this helps us vs the shitters.

So let me get this straight.

Rams throw it, Sean McVay is pass happy and abandons the run to quickly.

Rams run it, they need to stop doing that on early downs.

What the hell are they supposed to do then? Lol

There's a lot of things to correct. Cooper Kupp fumble and a botch snap aren't the norm.

Cams first was so close. His second was bad. Trust he cleans that up.
Maybe McVay should try having guys ride magic brooms like Harry Potter on some plays to mix it up when passing and running are both non-options.

The way that shit was happening I was starting to think the football gods were conspiring. If Cam doesn’t fumble on the 1, 3 points and the game’s not tied. Kupp fumbling on a routine tackle, I don’t know when I’ve seen him fumble at all. Gay shorting a 47 yarder? An inadvertent snap on a silent count? I guess it’s encouraging that Tampa needed all those gaffes to be in the game.

When Gays FG was short I truly wondered what the fuck was going on.

Thank God for Matthew Stafford

It was like some weird Brady-luck funk rolled in.

Unbelievable and borderline weird/spooky the amount of things that kept them in the game.

There were a few plays in this game that with different outcomes the game would've been over besides the obvious turnovers. For example... on the Bucs last TD, 4th down and goal Reeder has Fournette in the backfield and blows the tackle. That would've been the game.

This game was an anomoly. If the Rams would have made one more FG (missed FG, fumble at 1 yard line would have been FG, snap over Stafford head would have been a FG) it’s all but over. If the Rams would have fumbled 1, 2 or 3 times instead of 4 they would have won easily.

I am convinced he made a deal with the Crossroads Demon

I am just surprised the Hell Hounds haven't gotten to him after the 10 years was up

Had we not had four fumbles, this game would have probably been 35-10 or 35-17 or something like that. Other than the long TD Jalen gave up, the defense played outstanding and the offense was on fire except for the fumbles. Correct those mistakes and we'll be fine this week. The Niners offense has scored two touchdowns in the last two games. Stuff the run and make Jimmy beat you.

1 Akers was starting to pick up yards and that came from the commitment to the run
This was encouraging…the 2 yard runs were becoming 5 and 6 yard runs late in the game, take away the fumbles.

As good as it was to have Cam back, the fumbles were unwelcome.

It’s obvious all the fumbles were Brady’s fault, his greasy makeup was smeared all over the balls!
