I believe he obtained it illegally and had no permit to carry it. Dumb on both accounts. Can someone explain the felony gun law that was broken? Is it because he didn’t have a permit or something?
I was gonna say give him a second chance. But it seems this is his second chance. Plus he had weed. I wouldn’t be upset if we cut him.
Some people can be given the chance for a better life, with s as ll if the money they could ever want. Yet they always return to their comfort zone. PAC Man Jones is a good example of that.Seemingly an average NFL player. Not average in the financial situation.
The average person on the street - aside from sports folks, at 21 yrs old - who gets a $4M contract and a signing bonus of $132K? While not an insurmountable wad of cash - certainly it is enough for most of the rest of us to live comfortably and to avoid having to go to sketchy places and be with people of questionable character. With a gun.
Got tossed out of Clemson at 20yrs old with responsibility for 2 kids.
Life choices. Made less than admirable choices myself - but, man up. You have more resources than 90% of the folks out here....
Pattern of behavior.... happened at Clemson as well...Some ppl keep a gun in their in car in case someone tries to rob them. Maybe it was with his registration and the cop saw it. Or course it should have been legal but that doesn't make him a thug.
This could be true but if it was registered there is no reason to incarcerate him. It’s likely that the gun was not registered, which means he wanted to cut corners and was comfortable doing it illegally. Or that he knew that he would not pass the background check. Some ppl keep a gun in their in car in case someone tries to rob them. Maybe it was with his registration and the cop saw it. Or course it should have been legal but that doesn't make him a thug.
