No one has picked a special teams ace in their lists! We need to find one or two gems who can help us massively improve that faze. Asking for a friend

I think probably longer than two years as a thrower anyway.
But, one could certainly get creative with implementing him and could be a dual or triple threat gadget player.....fast enough to run....fast enough to get out into a route, especially when in motion....and of course, as a run/throw threat when taking the ball behind the line of scrimmage.

I dunno...

I just don't want McVay to get any hairbrained ideas of calling gadget plays on 3rd and short.... Hearing a lot of the whiners here bitching about McVay calling pass plays on 3rd short was painful enough to read.

Ehhh....I getcha.
Third or fourth and s short plays being deemed good or bad calls just come down to success.
A pass is always adding extra risk and a run is always predictable.

I think Alex Harkey- G out of Oregon needs to be considered since NFL trade rumors has him supposedly having a private workout with the Rams after his pro day. Rams need to add on at OL with 4/5 starters being free agents next year.

With a lack of depth at OT, I don’t mind bringing in Travis Burke from Memphis. He is a mauler and a gigantic man at 6’9”. No risk as a UDFA or a pick at end of draft. He would be a practice squad guy to see if he can be developed further. Just not sure at his size he can improve his short area quickness and agility.

Keyshawn James-Newby (New Mexico) is one of the most underrated pass rushers you've never heard of. Pro Football Focus has him amongst the ten highest win rates of all pass rushers in the NCAA, just behind guaranteed first round picks like David Bailey and Akeem Mesidor. This is not just one year production either; he's been productive every place he's been at. His issue is that his run defense hasn't caught up and he's light for an edge-rusher (6'2", 244 lbs.), but as a designated pass-rusher (and a very late-round pick) he could end up being another piece that can take the defense to new highs - and that's what you're looking for with late-round picks: that one potentially good trait and/or the ability to go on teams.
