You wonder if a guy like that once he gets into a pro team like the Rams with proper nutrition, physical conditioning and all - is there some major potential there. He could lose 50-70 pounds and still be massive. Add strength. Nice rotational piece and short yardage guy. Good potential pickup late in draft.

Actually it wasnt as bad as I recall. Maybe they tweeked it recently. I remember passing on him after reading their write up. Still ranked him as the 248th best player.

248.
Nick Martin LB Oklahoma State
Height: 5 - 11 |Weight: 221 lbs |RAS: 8.55

Nickolas Martin is a quick twitch athlete who has excellent play speed as an undersized linebacker and had high production totals in 2023 before only playing five games in 2024. He led the Big 12 in solo tackles with 83 and had 16 tackles for loss. Additionally, Martin is an effective blitzer who can consistently impact the pocket, with 30 pressures in 2023 on 98 pass-rushing snaps. Martin is a physical run defender who seeks out contact and can beat offensive linemen to make plays. The injury in 2024 means that he has a limited college sample size with only one full season of playing time. Martin can play a little too out of control sometimes and can miss tackles, with a career 13.2% missed tackle rate.
That missed tackle rate isn't good. However, he's a late pick or udfa so not the biggest stretch to go after a guy like that. All players at that point definitely have warts.

Dont'e Thornton WR...

... small route tree now but size and speed you can't teach, maybe Rams think they can coax a full or mostly full route tree out of him thinking that some of it's been hidden in that whacky Tennessee offense of theirs.

Justin Walley - CB Minnesota.
He definitely looks solid, but depending on which board/mock you believe to be accurate, he might not get too far into the draft before getting picked. I’ve seen him usually mocked around the 4th. That’s still day 3, though.

Yeah read 5-6. I think 4th is a bit early
