To the PLAYERS, I'll never question your toughness ever again. You stood up, and knocked the 49ers out when it mattered most. I'm so proud of you all, and thankful for you all.

To the COACHES, I know we go through turmoil and questionable decisions, but I'm so thankful for you all. And wouldn't trade you you for anything.

To the FRONT OFFICE AND OWNER, thank you for being so aggressive, and putting now before the future year after year and it paying off.

To you fellow FANS, I love you all. I know I'm just the drunk, hog farming, arm rest GM/COACH who knows most things all the time (obviously), but I really do respect and appreciate each and every one of you. We may have our disagreements, and arguments, but that's our PASSION. I wouldn't trade any of you for anything.

Congrats to us all, RAMS NATION.

ONE. MORE. GAME.

He's there to be the defensive play caller and get people lined up. Beyond that, he's somewhat competent against the run between the tackles. He's a massive liability in coverage. We need to find a replacement this offseason.
They have their replacement, Jones. He's coming off an injury.

Reads plays well? Lol i don't know what you have watched but he over or under plays plays constantly. My biggest grip with him is he ALWAYS gets dragged for yards. I mean in this game he had a tackle on a receiver (and it wasn't deeboo) on 3rd down about a yard or 2 behind the 1stbdown maker and the wr drug him for 3yds. Smh he is a linebacker. He has no pop at the point of attack, he's weak (for a linebacker)
I see him in position early on in plays to make the tackle but then he takes a terrible angle and the ball carrier goes right by him.

To Reeder's credit, he has done a hell of a job for an undrafted player. Having given him that credit, let's go with Jones and Travin in two weeks.

Would think there's a pretty good chance of that, since Jones made it onto the field. They have to be confident that Jones can play 100% of the snaps and communicate everything. Pretty sure they trust him.. but he needs to be able to play the whole game.

I'm about as over the Reeder stuff as I am the Morris stuff, to be honest.
He's a backup. He's a backup for a reason.. but is starting because the guy in front of him got hurt AND because the guy behind him who called the defense is also hurt.
For his very obvious limitations and faults, seems like he did okay communicating the defense today and did enough to help the team hold the 9ers to 17 points.
I will say this over and over - just have him blitz half the time on 3rd and long and fake blitzing on the other half.

He is absolutely terrible on coverage on 3rd and long.

Haven't seen those yet.. but had 2 out of 19 last time.

Like I said in a previous post.. I'm just over the Reeder shit. Guy's a Ram and contributed to them going to the Super Bowl. It's not his fault Jones and Fuller got hurt.
He doesn't miss tackles most of the time but damn he gets dragged for a ton of yards on coverage and runs to the outside

I'm gonna go ahead and say whatever they did today.. .it worked.

So, how about we celebrate instead of repeatedly second guess?

This goes back since last season. He took over for Micah Kiser.

I guess respect for T.Howard should go along with Reeder because of making that INT to close the 9ers victory.

Geezus! So this becomes an I hate Reeder thread?

I'm not going to say he's a great player, but obviously he was the best we had that could play.

Give it a break. Yeah... He had some bad plays. But you are never going to have all pros all over the team.

He played his heart out and called the plays. There are teams with worse players at his position not having to call the plays and even far better players watching these games at home.

He's the best we had at the time. Sit him and who steps in his place? He made some plays, he missed some plays. We didn't win BECAUSE of him and we wouldn't have lost BECAUSE of him. He simply didn't play bad enough to be the cause if we had lost.

Haha. I called Morris Retarded in the GDT. Woops.

The retarded one was Shanny who could of sealed it multiple times but Wussed out and punted.

But to Morris, I love you man. Reeder, I am still coming for ya Bro.
When you sign guys like, AD, Ramsey, Stafford, Kupp. Where's the extra money?

We're in the fucking Super Bowl!

There isn't a team out there that doesn't have holes, Brother

Reeder did his best. He made some plays and missed some. If we had Ray Lewis this front 7 would be ridiculous. But Reeder helped enough that we won.

I saw AD making a speech to the defense in the 4rth quarter. He basically said we're not allowing anymore points. It worked

I didn't see anyone complaining, when he knocked the ball down on what should have been a 3rd and lond completion for a 1st down.

That was a hue play by Troy!!

We don't spend money on his position. WtF do people expect from a role player?
He's not making $20 mill a year.

I dont get the hate either.

I'm not hating Reeder. He has his strengths. But Morris doesn't use them properly enough times. He only blitzed Reeder once on a 3rd and long and guess what - the one time he did - the Rams forced an almost sack into an interception.

Morris has trouble recognizing strengths of his players and we almost lost this game because of it.

And I am worried that this may cost us the Super Bowl if he doesn't use his players strengths enough times.

But yes - this is also a celebration so I should stop putting down Morris and using Reeder as an example of Morris major shortcoming as a DC and how he uses his players incorrectly.

Go Rams.

As I just stated, use Reeder properly and I will be all for Reeder.

If he used him properly, this is a possible outcome of the GDT forum

1st 3rd and long - gawd dammit Reeder - your coverage sucks big time

2nd 3rd and long -way to go Reeder - awesome play putting pressure on Crapola or allowing Donald one on one

3rd 3rd and long - damn good play Reeder - wooot

4th 3rd and long- dammit Reeder - you couldn't cover a horse's ass if you were tied to it

And so on lol
