With all said - I swear The Rams need to trade back.Missing there SECOND RD. Pick is to valuable not to get back.

I’d say Jihaad Campbell if he even gets close you might move up to get him.Having that MLB/Edge would center The Defense for years.
In ALL 3 PHASES !! Pass rush - RUN- Pass coverage. His sideline to sideline speed is something I CAN’T REMEMBER when they’ve had a player like that. PUA ??
Not JL55. I guess undersized London Fletcher ??

I think there comes a point where they put aside their opinion and move some guys on to the list that others are high on so they can increase their “hit” number
I stop listening to the draft rankings by April. I’ve noticed that a good portion of what they say is all about selling their videos and articles. For instance McShea said this is the best runningback draft class in years and he has 12 backs in the top three rounds. That’s just hype and selling fans hope. Is there really 12 RBs that are going to have a big impact or more like the top two.

I also noted that early in the offseason there was a lot of talk about how this isn’t a great draft class. It’s very low on star power. But if you listen to some of these guys now it sounds like there will be very good players well into round 2.

Then you have the QB class that was supposed to be the worst in years. No QBs are worth the number one pick. Now Jaxson Dart is top ten. How’d he go from round 3 to top ten? I think it’s mostly salesmanship to get clicks and views.

If we were to go BPA at 26 it would probably be a RB. I am thinking that would be: Omarion Hampton, North Carolina.

What do you think?
That’s the great thing about how Snead has setup this team currently. No need to draft based on needs - its depth and thus let the board come to us picking whomever is at the top of our board - whether that’s Omarion, a CB, OL, whatever…even a trade down if we have a group of similar guys we like relatively equally.

Omarion is a great option. Adding fuel onto the offensive fire is much needed. I wouldn’t complain one bit with that.

Yeah, I hadn`t thought about Omarion until you said BPA. Now I am salivating at the thought of an elite RB again.

From what I remember of Snead`s hard to understand interviews, he won`t answer the question of BPA straight. He starts talking about calculus and algorithms. LOL.

Hampton is really not likely to there at 26. There are several teams desperate for a RB ahead of us. If he slips to 26 and its between him and Pearce, I'm going with the edge all day (provided his issues are cleared up).

I’d rather take a tweener like Landon Jackson later in the draft over Pearce in round 1. They could use a versatile piece that they can move around like they did with Hoecht. Pearce is more of a pass rush specialist and doesn’t play the run well.
