Dude needs to be psyched like this. Old McVay needs a return and the capris need to go.
If the psyched part returns, I couldn’t care less about the capris. He could wear a skirt on the sidelines in exchange for the killer instinct.

Don’t think Gurley’s coming back, TG was the ultimate weapon, especially when playing with a lead and wanting to run the ball. Like Saquon last year, if you stack the line against him one missed tackle and it’s off to the races. And a little dump off turns into a foot race.
My post had nothing to do with Gurley, and you don’t need a franchise back of that caliber to finish off an opponent.

You don’t need a franchise back but it makes life a lot easier. TG had 2000 yds from scrimmage and was OPY in ‘17 and 1800 in ‘18, he was a huge part of the offense. If I remember right a lot of that “going for the jugular” consisted of swing passes to Gurley and him running for 50 yds. That was also when the 11 personnel was still carving teams up. This team is much different, McVay coaches it differently.
