The Rams like big splashy moves, and I bet they made a comparable big offer for CMC.

And yeah, Palo Alto (Stanford) is just 20 minutes away from Santa Clara, so I can imagine that CMC preferred the Bay Area. Plus his Dad played for the Niners too.

I gotta admit, if CMC had come to the Rams, this board would've been stoked. I checked out his highlight reel, and his cutting ability and acceleration really "pop".
