Well when the season started it was more of a Veteran defensive backfield.So seeing the rookies stepping up has been huge.

—Plus if you even go back to last season.When Ahkello has played The Rams win lose record has been way above average.

BTW - I like the positivity !! I commend you for the faith & confidence.

This looked like his intent though it looks worse than the Puka hit and already down why even try that. Glad we beat those punks.

Michael Hoeght should get a game ball.
He had 1/2 a sack, several pressures, a few tackles and blocked the extra point that allowed the game to be tied at 20.

Yeah, he's become an asset after being a whipping boy during the Morris tenure.

I always smh over uninventive nicknames but THAT is funny. Maybe because the number of words gives it a certain ring.

I was yelling about that when it happened. I'm fine with punching at the ball. But while the receiver is lying on the ground and obviously giving himself up? That's complete bullshit and definitely should have been flagged at minimum.

I'm wondering if Puka is having and issues. He says he never had been ejected before and he seems like a pretty chill dude overall for a beast with the ball but for him to do that in that moment seems so out of his character. I was just wondering if he's not 100 % yet and it's frustrating him. Just a thought. Go rams.

psychiatric analysis aside...

i think puka was (as usual) the second player reacting to the first player... and drawing the flag...

i think in a case like this, replay should be involved... it was obviously a retaliation punch...

a player should be able to demand a replay look at the situation... amd the first player should be the one ejected..

that's my 2 and 1/2 cents worth...

He generally is good close to the LOS.
He can't cover in space. Im sure the D coaches know this. So do the other teams OCs.
So, using movement they will get the mismatch....Like Jones matched up with Hoeght in the Vikings game.
They are clever enough to do the movement and shifts in a way to get the match up late in the play clock so the Rams have a couple of seconds only to switch the coverage.....to prevent a player potentially running uncovered they Rams don't switch.
