That maye character looked pretty good. The Rams dline had him under pressure a few times and he still hit the open receiver. Gotta give him credit.

He looked better than Brady ever did
up to the crowd if that's a joke or not

Gummies, my friend… gummies…
1. The refs called some ticky tack BS imo and it was on more than one occasion. Plus, the Cheats left tackle constantly blocking Verse in the back with no calls was questionable. Thats legal away from the QB or play but not when it’s a pass rusher going after the Qb.What would you guys say caused this to be close instead of a blowout?
yeah, you can't miss the gimmies. It took a while but the offense finally got untracked. Was good to see. Stafford with 4 TD's. A few off target throws but got better as the game went on.
Defense is becoming one of the better pass rushing teams. I'd like to see tighter coverage when quarterbacks are intent on quick passes. And maybe be a little smarter and avoid penalties. They had a few drives extended by penalties.
After Karty's really bad miss from around 20 yards I'm thinking we still haven't gotten our kicking game solved. That could be a problem down the road. McVay's not gonna trust him when its a 50 yard plus attempt. Because they used a draft pick on him I'm sure he will have a longer leash than a free agent vet who bounces from team to team. I just hope he becomes that guy we need. Field goals over 50 yards are nice, but give me a guy who is consistent up to 49 yards. And doesn't miss PAT's.
I'm celebrating in this thread and gave out game balls. I gave him a game ball. You started arguing in the celebration thread.McClendon had nineteen snaps in the Seattle game compared to fifty-eight by Havenstein before he went down with an injury. Here is the proof.
Again, I am not anointing him as any kind of starter, but for fuck's sake, we're talking about a thread that's celebrating that we won the game. If you or OS or anyone - literally anyone - wish to be negative towards me in any other thread, I'm more than willing to take it. But not here. Not when we're supposed to be positive here.
I don't recall McClendon taking over for Boom, I thought Acuri took over and got totally destroyed. I thought McClendon started the next game at LT but was absolutely terrible. I think McClendon is a good backup RT.He's not a left tackle, like what he played at the Detroit game (maybe that's what you're thinking, but it was not multiple bad games; he has only ever started during the Detroit game and this game, both at different positions, so I'm not sure where the "multiple bad games" is coming from.). Detroit was a bad game for him. He was also lining up at left tackle against Aiden Hutchinson, who is arguably the best pass-rusher in the NFC now that AD retired, so we're talking only elite left tackles who would stand a ghost of a chance, not a second-year fifth-round pick who has only ever started at right tackle in college.
Kid was having a pretty good game though honestly.I was wondering which QB was the one that passed for four TD's today. From the way Sanchez was jawing about Maye all game, could have sworn it was him.....
Yeah, I guess I always look at the entire process of building a team. So while not ignoring this year, I am just realistic in that they have a few killer weaknesses/issues that will prevent them for doing much.Yeah the prob right now is mainly we need a corner on defense to replace Spoon. Nothing against him but he's a subpar option out there and limited in how he can be used. That said there is room for the secondary to improve with Durant and the safeties. So maybe we can hit these next games on an upswing defensively.
I'd like to see this defense lower its points against by 3-4 over the rest of the sched. For that to happen the secondary has to play better.
Lines are definitely in good shape. Just need health on both sides.
For the offseason they need to do a much better job in the FA window. But that's a ways off. I'm not ready to write this season off just yet. We've got a lot of issues but as you say a lot of good young pieces so I'm going to enjoy watching them battle the rest of the way.

Have a wonderful day.
If the coaches could trust the pass coverage, matching it with man press coverage makes more sense with the Rams pass rush. But they can’t trust the coverage and teams continually through underneath and move the chains. I don’t think the coaches have much of a choice. It took a while but the offense finally got untracked. Was good to see. Stafford with 4 TD's. A few off target throws but got better as the game went on.

See above, but I do agree to an extent. The slow starts extend especially to the Offensive line. Both the O and the D have started games so poorly. Is it Xs and Os, the play calling, or is it the players not ready for the intensity of the opponent?
I say the coaching is failing big time.
I was thinking how good he would look as a ram.Kid was having a pretty good game though honestly.
