Bones isn't finishing this season strong is he. They need to tighten up on those return coverages.

That's why I question if Goff is free to audible into better plays. From what I see the answer is no. There are plays where he can obviously call adjustments to the strong side, but completely change the play at the LOS...I don't think he has that liberty.

At Washington though McVay was under the HC...he had to run what the HC wanted.

I've wonder the same thing, especially when we call run straight into a stacked box. If that's the case, it really would limit the offense, and take away a lot of the playbook. So is that a coach control issue or a lack of confidence in a QB's knowledge of the playbook? I wonder if Goff has struggled with reading the D or if he's not had much opportunity? It's all speculation, but it could answer some questions.

So, are the fans yelling " Cooooop" or "Kuuuuup"? I've been trying to figure that out for years. Yes, I'm embarrassed to ask, but recently I also asked some chick for directions and survived that...so what the hell!

With the exception of the occasional TE screen, our screen game is not exactly fear inducing. Weird - seems we have the personnel to be a good screening team.
