Hmmm...could this be the last day we ever see Rams in this uni?

So let's think about this O line:

Whitworth fading, but maybe serviceable for one more year

Corbett maybe an average starter at G; could play center?

Blythe a liabilty

Edwards young, but so far average to below

Evans also young, looks outmatched today and confused on some stunts

Havenstein regressed to JAG or worse before injury

Noteboom average at best at guard, maybe a better tackle? Allen JAG at best so far.

Depth - either not much or coaching is bad if they can't see the field

Not going to be an easy fix. So FA? Not much cap space. Draft? Maybe use a 2nd and a 3rd?
I don't think it's too hard to foresee what they'll do. Whitworth's pay will go to an interior OL free agent addition. They'll move the young kids to the edges. And they'll draft a Center to compete with Allen.

With the Cards playing the run so tight...whats wrong with a playfake and getting Gurley out on LBs?

IT'S OVERDUE!!!

Remember how so many were complaining about his contract? The mind boggler is, what took so long to really use him.
Maybe Higbee had issues getting it down in practice and they finally had it installed when he was set.

Damn it feels good to see Gurley catch a pass.

And Higbee be like: I'm here to stay bitches!

I hope you're right, Merlin. Just not sure I see a quality LT on the team outside of Whit. I'm all for drafting a stud center. So you see Corbett as a starting guard? Do you move Edwards to T then?

That spot on the Gurley run lol. Bout a yard shorter than it should have been IMO.

Yeah I don't think they're going to have a bonafide LT next season. It will be whoever wins the job out of Edwards/Evans and whoever else they try there.

Can't fix everything in one offseason, particularly when you trade away your top picks. So fix the rest of the line and a strong run game will still allow for a big offensive resurgence.

I really hate how you can tell immediately what kind of game it’s going to be with the Rams. The SECOND they are not in rhythm

This, IMO, is one of the more concerning things this season. It seems too often we can't adjust out of whatever the other team is doing to us.

I am not able to watch the game, so I am just commenting on your observation.

Fuck that. Put back in my favorite jersey (away jerseys) and call it the current uniform. But of course that's just wishful thinking... because greed.

Rams gonna handle business I think. Secondary just has to hold up with 2x starters out.

I don't think so. The Rams under McVay...simply have not been a TE throwing team except over the last 5-6 weeks.

which is funny because McVay loved TEs in Washington. Having that realization to end this season should hopefully let him open up this offense more to begin next season.

Rams 1980's away jersey...my favorite all time!
