Funny !! Well, just glad Stan is the Owner!! I know 40,000 St. Louis Fans were cheering F’ Kronke at the XFL game.
I’m a Rams Fan & I don’t know how many LA Ram Fans there are? I went to the OTA’s at SOFI.There was a guy bragging how he never was a Rams Fan when they left to even Anaheim.
Life goes on. I WILL ALWAYS Drink the KOOl-AIDE & as a RAMS FAN feel Blessed to have This Front Office & Leadership!!

The 9ers picked up a nice DE/DT from Philly . Then Sam Darnold from Carolina.Just adding insult to injury. Now it gives Lance time to develop & Purdy time to get healthy.
By the time Lance develops he will be ready to retire. Niners know Lance is a bust. They got Darnold for insurance in case Purdy’s injury takes longer to recover. 3 number 1 draft picks for a guy who’s probably going to be released in a year. But everyone thinks John Lynch is a great Good Morning.

Dude - freaking I wanted Jimmy G to get traded. As soon as rumors The Rams were going to back door them to get Jimmy G,they took him off the trade block.
-I swear Shanny Ran Tre Lance into the ground to get HURT!
The sad thing is Purdy got reps as a backup & developed better than ANY SCOUT SAW coming.
—Purdy is basically done for most of 2023.(pup list).Tre Lance has no trade value. He at least gives the niners a chance if Sam gets hurt.

I’ll call him there’s a chance Lance. My worry is Brussss.

I wonder if the rest of the defensive backfield will miss him in the STAR role? He seemed to help a lot of guys out during the game.....
I think we'll absolutely miss him, more than any of the other losses to cuts/trades/free agency. We had a multitude of reports he was basically a coach in training camp with the vets putting in less work.

I'll give Lynch cred with that defense. Doesn't matter who's DC that unit has remained stacked and produces year to year. And he has ensured they have an edge in the trenches vs us, which is irritating as F.

But before I need to wash my own mouth out with liquid soap I'll add that his lack of expertise on the offensive side of the ball has killed them. It has to suck serious ass to lose out deep in the playoffs in three separate seasons. And that Lombardi we won sure does buy a lot of patience from myself. Don't care what anyone says I can milk that shit out for at least a few more years.

Also while I'm thinking about this...

I feel like the combination of McVay getting that first title plus getting hitched and trying to find balance in that first year of marriage sort of combined to distract him just enough to get him off his usual game. He overlooked some serious shit with his staff and the roster. But it feels like we have the old McVay back this year. He looks energized and sharp not like that tired and distracted dude who was running things last year.

So in spite of how shitty this roster is looking right now I have a feeling they're going to hit on a few picks, also will add a cheap FA or two that end up helping us a lot, and I expect this year's staff is going to perform much better as well in development of the holdovers on the roster with a surprise or two from among the younguns. Not saying he can produce a Super Bowl winner with this bunch. That would be ridiculous. But it's not too far from where we were to a wildcard type season.

Well in their hometown it might be more accurate to say a large phallic object in their ass. Hope it leaves a mark.

… can I be honest?
For me, I barely know how to be honest because my Homer RAM glasses warp my perception of reality.

Me, a month ago:

"Ramsey is a stud, a super talented player and a fierce competitor. Yeah he's lost maybe half a step, but he's still elite. He's always been a good teammate who elevated the play of everyone around him."

Me, now:

"Good riddance. He selfishly wanted more $ than he's worth, so screw him. I remember the way he hit Rapp, the guy's an arrogant SOB and a crappy teammate. Glad we at least got a 3rd rounder to dump that overpriced jerk."

In Week 1, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen targeted Ramsey seven times, and the Rams CB allowed six receptions, 124 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, and a perfect 158.3 passer rating for Allen.
Ramsey allowed a career-high seven touchdowns in coverage, and during the season, he was allowing a completion percentage of 68.7% as the nearest defender, per ESPN, which was the 10th-highest rate in the league.

I really like Ramsey he was one of my favorite Rams but I think they didn’t use him right the last few years. I am rooting for him in Miami I think he will do great for a few years. It is disappointing we did not get a 2nd rounder at least for him. I think the Rams probably took less and did similar to the Robert Woods trade and sort of let him approve a spot he liked.

If you cutoff 04' and 22' they are about the same.
If you go Martz (57-39) v. McVay, (60-38) it's McVay. Especially if you count postseason. 3-4 v. 7-3 (60-43) v. (67-41). 3 winning seasons for Martz, 5 for McVay.

If you go GSOT (70-42) vs McVay (60-38) it's GSOT. With postseason 76-46 vs 67-41. Although 4 winning seasons for GSOT v. 5 for McVay.

So pretty close in any respect.

We went 27-11 without Ramsey and 33-27 with him. Including p.s. 29-13 v. 38-28. And we did win a SB with him.

I wish he was able to retire as a Ram. He’s still a great player. Any Ram fan here would be excited if the Rams traded for a player of his caliber for a third round pick and a Brycen Hopkins.

Put it in perspective. He has a big contract and wanted more. He’s going to get it too.

Ramsey gone for whatever reason.

2023 Rams backfield is going to get torched no matter who they add.
