My only beef with moving on from him is the pitiful compensation we received. If we would have got more picks, or more cap savings, I might feel different. I just think they gave him away too cheaply, and don't think they needed to find another Bill O'Brien to get a better deal.
Per Jordan; the Rams were about to have to pay JR guaranteed money if he was on the roster. Other teams knew the rams were between a rock and a hard place and Ramsey had to be moved, thus the low ball offers. The Rams structured JR’s contract to be attractive to move at some point but it’s a lot easier to move players from a successful team. Mcsnead thought they would be dealing from a position of strength, everyone wants to overpay for a great team’s players vs offering pennies on the dollar to a rebuilding team.

Jalen requested the trade. As they have with all their players they granted it. That is how they maintain the locker room culture they have.

Eli Apple! He will be remembered for Kupp catching the winning touchdown against him in the Superbowl. I don't remember any good plays from him at all. Well, that was a good play, for the Rams!

It's going to be unbearable to watch next year against physical teams, I'm afraid.
How do you know that Dude? I’m just saying that we don’t know what the roster looks like.
Durant is a player I am VERY concerned about. He is going to have to playoff the ball more like a nickle.

Might as well trade AD to the steelers at this point. I don’t think we will be going anywhere this season it’s a full on rebuild at this point and we are lacking veteran leadership at some important spots. We are green as hell, going to be interesting to see how this team functions at D without key players. If you all thought the D was bad last season buckle up because it may be worse…
The 9ers picked up a nice DE/DT from Philly . Then Sam Darnold from Carolina.Just adding insult to injury. Now it gives Lance time to develop & Purdy time to get healthy.

Because they've been unbearable to watch against physical teams already. And you just lost the most physical player on the defense. Gonna lose another in Nick Scott. The rest of the guys just bounce off.

So for lacking leadership at key spots on defense, the answer is trade away more leadership? It's been said, Donald's leadership came to the forefront during our 9-1 run at the end of 2021, when Von Miller encouraged AD to be more vocal. He's now THE defensive leadership. We have a lot of young, willing players on that side of the ball, just looking to be led. Might end up being better than the current projections are favoring. I'll gladly buckle up for the ride.
Do you honestly feel AD is at a point in his career where he wants all the weight on his shoulders? This D is going to rely solely on him from leadership to the physical side of changing the game. Its going to be interesting nevertheless, but we should of never been in this spot to lose this many guys at once, should of been more gradual. I think thats where the FO f’d up huge on the money side…

Honestly he was the second best defensive player on this team.
Every cb in the league needs a good pass rush, the ram’s was terrible.

I know this is hindsight and I really like Aaron Donald but after the season we just had and the likelihood of a similar season next year, we probably should have let Aaron Donald retire with a super bowl win.

Plus I hate seeing our DC neuter the greatest DT in the history of the game.

I'd honestly listen to trade offers. He's not going to want to play next season with it as a bye season. As much as it irks me that he wanted that new deal so bad, and now it's helping screws us... He deserves better. Ship him to PIT or something so he can be with his children.

I get where you're coming from but I would really hate to see him play for another team.

But with him and TJ Watt on the same team, opposing QBs would see their life flash through their eyes lol

It would be really something to see.

I agree. I'd hate it too. But it'd probably be best for our future and next year.

HORRIBLE InSight. Don’t understand it at all.

To be honest I HATE the Dolphins HC.Jalen is going to do well there & They have Mike White who won some folks a lot of money with Draft Kings.
Good thing is The Rams have the Jets OC.Though Aaron Rogers,Jimmy G are following there old OC’s.Windering where Baker goes?
Sam Darnold is going to be a good fit with Shanny & that team is stacked this season.
—The Hags have 2 first rd picks & a nice young RB who is only going to be better next year.

If we are being honest who do you keep. Greg Gaines or A’ Robinson DT ? The Rams are going to need to stop the run.
—Who will sign for the BIGGER contract?

Gaines is the more consistent to me. Better pass rusher. But there's just something about Ashawns mean streak and ability to really take up 2 blockers.

I'm just glad I'm not making the decision.

Well will see. I don’t know what that will look like as of now.MLB Wagner is gone & Ernest Jones needs to bulk up .He said he will be a lot better next season.

Do you believe him & thoughts on him ? Or are you just going to keep complaining? Like I said I don’t understand.
Earnest Brown is going to be a STUD next season.Any thought in him & his play?He is a BIG DE who is going to be BETTER than Copeland a UDRFA in the rotation the last 3 seasons.

I'll probably keep complaining. I like Ernest Jones a lot, needs bulked.

I don't have confidence in project players we have. Need proven other wise. We've heard this song and dance before. "Need to rely on youth on the OL, EDGE, and DB" and it doesn't usually end well.
