Please Cut Sam before It hurts us.
Yes, because cutting the first openly gay player ever before he even has a chance to make the team won't come back to bite the Rams in the ass.

Where do you people even make this stuff up at?

Look, I bleed Blue and Gold, just like you and every one else on this board. I think we are all in agreement that say if Sam proves to be more of a hinderance than a help to the Rams then he should be let go. I will openly support the guy AS LONG AS HE HELPS THE TEAM, as would you, but if he becomes a distraction then something has to change.

Obviously they were not going to cut him. The comment was not meant to be taken that seriously. It was an end the distraction plea.

I think there is a huge difference between the player becoming a distraction and the media's focus on a player becoming a distraction.

One he can control, the other he cannot.

Exactly how distracted can guys that appear on National TV on a regular basis be? Seriously, how mentally weak do you guys think our players are?

He cant control signing a contract with OWN to do a documentary on his struggles to make an NFL roster? Who held a gun to his head...his agent?

Yes, true. The knock on Sam, though, is that he appears to seek the media focus. If he is the one who pulled the plug on the OWN documentary, then I agree with you 100%.

Appearing on TV and having a film crew follow your every move at practice are different. On field interviews responses from coaches and teammates. No prior protocol like that of Hard knocks (an NFL show) but a OWN network documentary who's parameters have not yet been laid down. The squashing of the project was a smart move especially for Sam the football player.

Show's getting postponed so... I don't really care.

getting postponed thanks to Fisher Snead and the NFL

Look at how much distraction it has already caused...I havent even started to look at the Boobies thread yet today
