Got a soft spot for Jourdan, seems like a good person and she's a terrific writer and journalist. Seems like a person of integrity so I'll give her credit for being honest.

She has a point that Rams show "variance" between when Stafford is hurt or off his game vs. when he's healthy and in the groove.

She says Rams are "definitely Super Bowl contenders."

I worry about the secondary
If Ramsey is signed, IMO a top 4 of Ramsey Williams Durant and Witherspoon seems pretty solid. Akhello really turned it on down the stretch. Emmanuel Forbes looked hungry (literally and figuratively) in his latest Instagram post.

Jalen Ramsey is providing a "countdown" to June 1st on his social media. So something is definitely up with him.

I have a hard time getting over how Witherspoon seems to loaf around and then turns it on for big games. I guess if the results are good, more the better but that kind of play makes me itchy.

Agree that adding Ramsey - while not in his prime - could really take the floor of the secondary and raise it substantially.

Yeah I recently re-watched the Minnesota playoff game and Witherspoon played out of his mind. But you're right he is inconsistent, not sure what's up with that, but he's got the talent.

I do not agree that they have more talent and a deeper roster but they have an easier division which gives them a nice window

Yeah she didn't say she didn't think the Rams were going to be good. She actually said we have as high a floor as anyone. She's on record as saying she thinks we're going to be really good this year.

I read this more as her giving props to the Bucs who some are sleeping on. With their division and schedule they should be winning at least 12 games.

every team that loses their starting qb will suck....

gotta keep praying the rams avoid the injury bug... if they do, we win the SB...hands down...

week one can't get here soon enough for me...

but i'm really looking fowartd to week 3... the week we destroy saquon and the eagles...

I'm just not sold on the Bucs. They've been in the weakest division for a few years now. They should be winning more than 9 or 10 games in a division like that if they were that good. Detroit, Rams, Wash, GB are all better in my opinion.

Agreed. I’m not impressed with the Bucaneers

If we lose Stafford for one or two games I think Jimmy GQ can keep us afloat. Its not like the days of Wolford and Rypien. Jimmy looked pretty decent playing with backups against Seattle's first team defense. I think they win that one if he had the starters.

I think she's on point though not sure I place Bucs above.

This team like last year will be super high variance (a bit less so if they grab Ramsey) so I think it's hard to place them in an order of contenders.

This team is streaky as F these days. We've benefited from Stafford being on heaters or the team turning it on in the playoffs last year.

I think that's the world we're living in this year... and maybe next.
I think you're exactly right. And also I don't love our depth at major positions and our QB is 37. Lots of opportunities for injuries to sink us. Maybe even just one major one.

Rams would be a perennial 12-win team and division winner if they played in the NFC South during McVay's tenure.

That division sucks. The Bucs should sleep their way to at least 10 wins. That’s likely the reason here - way, way easier schedule and division.

My only concern with our team is our secondary. Need them to step up this year. Hopefully the D line improves so much that it makes the secondary's job much easier.
