Cue McSnead throwing five first-round picks at the Texans when Stafford retires. That’s the type I want as successor to Stafford.
Not a typo, I am just stupid. I wasn't sure, but didn't bother looking it up."Heroine" binge is my fav typo of the week.
I go on heroine binges in my mind regularly, but they usually only last about 10-15 mins. I start with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman or Scarlett Jo's Black Widow, & often...um...finish with the original Cat Woman, Julie Newmar. TMI ?
The trade proposal is absurd. Young smells of Mariota to me. And never trust a guy with a first/last name reversal like Chase Daniel; confusion is baked into his very identity.
Seriously, no QB currently makes much sense as a trade option, imo. Somebody special could shake loose unexpectedly; how long will Cincy & Buffalo wait for their guys to deliver a Lombardi, for eg ? But I don't think you can plan on it.
Following the Green Bay model is easier said than done, of course, but if LAR keeps drafting well , it makes more sense to me. I think they bite the dead cap bullet sooner rather than later with MS & hope a bridge can keep them competitive until a non-top 5 prospect is ready to take the wheel of a young & relatively cheap playoff-ready roster. Keep drafting well & be ready to pounce, imo.
Of course, you have to believe McVay can actually develop a QB. TBD, imo.
They offered a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for their 1st and 6th.Do you recall what that trade offer was? I can't remember exactly but I believe it was absurd.
But meanwhile Jones has been ranked as the best player on the defense. A defense with a stud like Jeffrey Simmons. The Rams D sorely misses Jones in the middle.
And Ewers will fit right in with the current team theme of durability or lack there of.Ewers will end up being a 2nd/3rd day pick and would make a nice QB project
And he's a respectful and very likable guy outside of football. The Texans nailed it with CJ Stroud. That’s the type I want as successor to Stafford.
Big, thick body with the build to play among big boys. Can move. Strong arm. Accurate. That dude is a stud. He’s my favorite non-Rams QB outside of Mahomes.
Honestly if they would I would.Cue McSnead throwing five first-round picks at the Texans when Stafford retires.
With the QB room it's more about availability than anything else. If Ewers can come on board and not be suspended or on leave of absence, that would be a bonus! And Ewers will fit right in with the current team theme of durability or lack there of.
Ewers is getting his job back when he's healthy. I don't think there is any doubt in that. That said, Arch is playing a patsy today and is likely to put up huge numbers. Still think its Ewers job to keep for this year.Well, I think @Memento has outsmarted us all and with Arch Manning taking over the reigns in Texas, Ewers will end up being a 2nd/3rd day pick and would make a nice QB project
