Gotta say even though they won and he looked alright, Trevor is a dumb motherfucker. His game intelligence is totally below average for a guy who was touted as the next Peyton in that area.
Purdy threw 2 INT's and lost a fumble. 3 turnovers in his return. Gotta love that 50 million dollar man.

And McCaffrey's averaging less than 3 and a half yards per carry through 4 games. Sure does look like he's starting the decline you see in heavily used backs at his age. I still think the achilles problem is chronic. He's clearly not the same guy he was a couple years ago. He's lost that explosiveness. And they extended him last year.

I watched purdy a lot in college - he had talent but he turned the ball over a decent amount.
He started off his career avoiding that, but i figured it would catch him up with him.

Are you talking about the slide at the end of the game? While i have no idea why it took him so long to slide, the rule is the play is over as soon as the qb starts the slide, not where he is down. He definitely started to slide in bounds. Is the rule different in regards to the sideline?

That was one of them. The rule says you need to start your feet first slide while you’re clearly in the field of play, not touching the white of the sideline. I think his foot touches the white as he is starting his slide and they called him out of bounds.
There were multiple plays not just in this game but this season that leave me questioning Trevor’s IQ.

The beauty for the niners & Purdy was his contract the first 3 to 4 seasons.Now that he is PAID,they need to add talent at a discount.
Plus besides what Snackdaddy is saying add the contract of Akyu,and how they went about that.
LYNCH got SO lucky with Purdy.He traded up for Trey Lance & was going to RUIN there franchise.Now Lynch has done it again,but just not being a good GM.
