I think you meant illusions.
I'm not just talking about my wife, I'm talking about my LIFE, I can't seem to get that through to you. I'm not just talking about one person, I'm talking about everybody. I'm talking about form. I'm talking about content. I'm talking about interrelationships. I'm talking about God, the devil, Hell, Heaven. Do you understand... FINALLY?

All along IMO this is Britt's last chance, he has no where else to go and desperate times call for desperate measures. IMO if he can stay healthy he will have a postive impact, however, if not, then it did not cost much. Problem is that unless other players step up the Rams did not get better at WR. They are counting on Austin, Bailey (when he gets back), Quick and Givens to improve and maybe they will.

I would like to see Britt do well because he's playing for guy he was very productive for and that changes people. My hope is that Britt has a rebound year and then goes elsewhere and in 2015 the Rams sign Demaryius Thomas as an unresticed free agent...Like the Broncos would let him get away.

I keep coming back to the fact he's only 26 when the season starts-he's got some years left assuming full health.

The signing is clearly banking on 10/11 Britt, but w/ how little they signed him for, I really can't find much fault in rolling the dice.

Ha I love the way you think but if DEN didn't do everything in their power to sign this guy, somethings wrong with Denver cuz this guy is an animal!

Yuck.

I seriously hope he was just draggin' ass those past two years and/or the QB situation just didn't give him the opportunity to shine, because color me completely unimpressed with what I saw. He can run good routes, and is pretty strong after the catch, but man I just don't see anything there to indicate he can be a go-to guy anymore.

To be fair, he looked like a completely different receiver in 2010 and 2011. Crisp, explosive cuts, played angry, snatched the ball out of the air, and actually sought out contact instead of avoiding it. But after that knee injury, it just looked to me like he has really heavy legs, developed stone hands, and too often looked upfield instead of looking the ball in.

Gotta wonder if he ever recovered mentally from the barrage of injuries he's had so far in his career. Shoulder, hamstring, ankle, groin, knee, hamstring again, ankle again, and foot. Maybe a new environment and re-dedication to his craft will resurrect his career. I certainly hope so, because if we get the Kenny Britt first edition, we're good. Kenny Britt 2.0 isn't going to help us a lot, IMO.

Saw the same thing. That's why I wasn't enthused about the signing. But maybe it works out.

He'll be lucky to see the field after Bailey gets back. UNLESS he has been reborn physically and mentally.

The more potential suitors you have to catch the ball, the more of a headache it will be to defend - will it be Tavon, Givens, Britt, Bailey, Cook, or Stacy between the tackles??

@-X- I was just about to ask if you wanted to up our bet to $10m, but looking at the content of this thread I should really offer you a $1m buy out out of respect.

If nothing else, Britt is a bargain basement 1st round talent vet with damn good route running skills that played well under Coach Fisher - he can't possibly be any worse than Steve Smith

Yeah I know Barrison, however, it's a year away so don't crush my dream my Ram brother.

i wish more people would realise that. britt was brought in to be the man. he and sam will make beautiful music together. bradford that is.

That would make more sense to me if he were given better than a 1 year prove it deal with limited guaranteed money.
