Based on this article Tampa in 2002 had the best scoring defense in the history of NFL

Based on the talent and the way Rams D was trending over the later half of the season I believe Rams Defense will score an average 14 points per game over 16 game span eclipsing Tampa.

I cannot wait for week 1 and it will be :party:

Well...it's no doubt they have that potential anyway...but I worry about Williams because I think *some* of his D' blitz schemes are vulnerable to the big play because he gambles.

We know the blitz is always a gamble...but I think it's even more-so with Williams.

@ram007. I'm in I think they will come out with some bad intentions.They remember the hype from last year and how not getting a sack until game 5 destroyed that hype.Oak and Wash were not flukes last year they were previews of what's to come.

Let's see. 14 points per game on "D" Plus 21 points per game on Offense (roughly our aver last year) that's 35 Points per game. WORKS FOR ME!!:D

Loved the D in that game a couple of my friends who are die-hard Bronco fans ask me " how the he'll did you guys lose so many games playing D like that". I told them wait til we get a starting caliber Qb and we won't lose many games.

all you have to do is watch the last two minutes of the saints vs whiners playoff game a few years back. the saints d let alex smith drive the whiners 80 yards for a td. not once, twice. TWICE. ALEX SMITH. and the saints had the lead both times before letting the whiners score. williams was unceremoniously sacked after the game.

I usually make a judgment about this them after week 3 or so...Potential is a scary thing to me, for players and teams as well...I'm through setting myself up for an emotional fall with this team...I really do hope those of you with the high-end expectations are right...
 
Game changing penalties will cease , but the normal numbskull BS will still haunt Fishers teams. Refs do have us on a major watch list and we get NO benefit of doubt. Refs bring their makep bag when they do RAMS games so they look better with all the extra camera time. Wanna look their best in 4D.:sick:(n)

No chance until the DB's play tighter coverage. Blitz all they want but if there is a free 10 yards off the receiver, it is all for nothing!
 
I will settle for more three and outs, did not happen once in preseason on the opposing teams first possession.

Yeah, I hate that 10 yard cushion on 3rd and 6. Then they back pedal a few more yards after the snap. Its just pitch and catch for an easy 10 yards sometimes.

And the offense is going to have to do their part. They can't be going three and out 3 or 4 times in a row to start the second half.
 
Negative.. I just hope we get out of the gate decent.
