Truly hoping that McDaniels passes on the Browns and they end up with Mike McCarthy and Elliot Wolf as the combination and IMO, the Browns would be set for a number of years.

McCarthy reminds me of Martz. Took over an uber talented team to the SB then the shit slowly hit the fan years later. I dont think McCarthy is a good coach. Only different between him and Martz is he won the SB

McCarthy won a Super Bowl in 2010, he took over a Packer team in 2006 coming off a 4-12 record taking over for Mike Sherman. Can you recalculate please.

Agreed, McCarthy started out great. He, or rather their mediocre drafts and reluctance to sign free agents, then fizzled out.

Agreed, that's why Bill Walsh felt 10 years was the expiration date on coaches was 10 years....Anyway overall record of 125-77-2 and post season record of 10-8 with a Super Bowl, I'd hire him again.

Much like McVay he took over a very talented roster in 06', and much like Fisher the previous staff was horrendous. He might be a good OC but I don't think he's a good HC. JMO obvi.

Tell Bill B. and John H that.

John Pagano is an assistant DC in Houston. Offer him a DC position in LA and Houston can't stand in his way. Give Wade a new title as defensive consultant. John and Wade work well together and IMO John is far better at making in game adjustments, particularly half time adjustments.

Fire Kromer and promote Jedd Fisch to OC to oversee the offensive side of the ball. McVay can still design the game plan and call the plays, but Jedd could take on the burden of making sure the plan is implemented. Hire Whitworth as o-line coach and fire Dickerson who has shown this year he can't coach worth a damn. He's the o-line coach and he and Kromer are responsible for teaching proper o-line technique and these guys aren't getting it done. O-line technique is crap for this level.

John Pagano would be an excellent addition if the Rams keep Wade Phillips, however, teams can block assistants from moving if they are under contract, that rule changed, the only thing they can't block them from is Head Coach, so the Texans could say no if the Rams asked permission.

Now as to firing Kromer, I would not want to go with a player that has never coached especially on the Offensive LIne. Now if you wanted to bring another OL Coach like Bill Callahan and pair him with Whit as Assistant OL Coach I could see that, but IMO, Whit does not seem like somebody who wants to coach right away, he's a family guy and coaching takes more of a commitment and you work all the time during the season and even now in the off season.
