Wait... So the Browns made a big to do about the new HC having to deal with Schwartz as their DC. This understandsably scared off a bunch of coaching candidates narrowing their list tremendously.

And the idiots didn't even ask Schwartz if he wanted to stay on with a new HC if he didn't get promoted?? This is why the Browns are a legendarily incompetent franchise...
It was straight incompetence to handle the search the way they did. Unbelievable.

I think they are secretly (or blatantly) tanking in 2026 with Sanders at QB and the coach - for that elite QB draft next year.

If I was a top ranked QB and they're drafting one overall I'd publicly declare zero chance of ever playing for them. I'd hit Cancun and be a beach bum for a year if necessary.

So is it apparent the new HCs for Las Vegas and Arizona are preparing for the Super Bowl right now? Or are those two well run organizations just doing due diligence?

I'm guessing yes on Vegas, and thinking Klint Kubiak ... thought he called an excellent game vs. Rams.

Arizona ... I have no idea ... guessing that it's similar to Cleveland, and it will be a veteran coordinator that may feel this will be his only opportunity to be a head coach. Just don't think it's a very attractive job.

Any NFL Head Coaching job is significant but (at any given time) there are about 4-8 jobs that are ... Less So.

I agree. Of course there are sudden turnarounds every year. It's gonna be extremely difficult for Arizona facing Seattle, the Rams and SF twice each. Same goes for Las Vegas facing the Chiefs, Chargers and Denver. But I'd lean a little more towards LV having the better chance with Mendoza and a offensive whiz in that division.

With Miami and Buffalo, they have to deal with New England but also get the Jets twice as a countermeasure.
Cleveland has the clusterfuck that is the AFC North! But the Browns are kings of the clusterfuck!!!
Tennessee has an inconsistent division to deal with and if they got the QB right, could be in the thick of things.
The Giants and Harbaugh have a good chance
Stefanski and Atlanta have a division equal to the AFC North and the Falcons might have the most talent of any team with a new head coach.
