Personally, I'd throw my drink over thisPanthers have to be beside themselves especially after what Stroud has done.
I always grudgingly admired his presser demeanor. Hate the dude but he was an original. He also had a dynasty on being a douche nozzle in press conferences.
What about Pete in Carolina?Yes...that is my thought. Weak (and cheap) owner ... but QB in place.
Panthers --- is that Qb going to be anything? Early returns are not good, but I don't write anyone after a year. But they blew it compared to who they could have had.
Owner is impatient ... but could be enamored by Bill B. Carolina is great place to live ... owner would pay $$$ ...
I've had suspicions that the Panthers deal has been done for a while -- or should I say speculation. They have to go through process but if I were to guess that would be place.
He's staying in Seattle to advise ...What about Pete in Carolina?
That was Org-speak for "We're gonna keep paying you so we don't look like schmucks after firing you."He's staying in Seattle to advise ...
Cowboys when Jerry fires McCarthy after their loss this weekend. More reason to despise both. How many of you think he will take another HC job in the NFL ?
And where do you see him accepting that new gig ?
I mean maybe he will coach this year but I don't see it. Anything is possible, though. That was Org-speak for "We're gonna keep paying you so we don't look like schmucks after firing you."
That’s what I’m thinking as well.I am pushing my money he lands with the Chargers.
- The QB is in place. The most important piece doesn't need to be found or groomed.
- The Chargers have a solid roster, so they too probably believe they can win right away with the right HC hire. A vet HC makes sense.
I think Saleh gets more time, but the Giants are a mess right now.I could see Belechick actually sitting out 2024 and taking either the Jets or Giants gig when they inevitably open up
Idk how that owner could co-exist with Belichick. Seems like a terrible idea, but Tepper seems like the terrible idea type.Panthers owner throwing a bunch of money as his perceived best candidate (Bill) seems like a move he would make
I could see a scenario where Saleh still gets the boot this off-season despite Johnson's claim that he's safe.I think Saleh gets more time, but the Giants are a mess right now.
The Dabol / Martindale drama isn’t a good look for that organization.
Respectfully disagree. Tom Brady did just enough to overcome Belicheat's piss poor offensive plan. I won't take away that Belicheat is a very good D coordinator. But he has failed at every head coaching stop when his QB was not named Tom Brady. Check out his work with Cleveland. Belicheat sucks as a head coach.
Yeah, if he doesn’t make the playoffs next year with Rodgers, then he could be out.I could see a scenario where Saleh still gets the boot this off-season despite Johnson's claim that he's safe.
That said, nothing short of a deep run in the playoffs next year or he's gone.
His record is pitiful, only slightly better than his predecessor, but far behind the rest. And they all got fired

And he will be lucky to get the 15 wins if that’s the case. BB the coach is a good thing for the Commodes, BB the GM is not!his ego says he has to get 15 more wins to pass Shula, so he will coach again
my guess is Washington..coach and GM
