I think you could really see that Pooh Paul stuff was cut before they released this episode. First "non-smooth" action in the series (from my perspective).

It's great to see how closely the players and coaches are working together. The entire Rams organization is on the same positive vibe. It's a great time to be a Rams fan.
Man, if this aint the truth.
Nothing worse as a fan than to follow and be a fan of team that is, year after year, irrelevant. Not the worst in the league but not a threat to do anything but sniff a chance at a wildcard every now and then and lose their good players in FA.
We all know the Rams fans suffered over a couple of long stretches of this.
To have this team just not relevant, but fun, interesting and always a dangerous team to the rest of the NFL is great.
To see them doing this in a sustainable way is just fantastic......these could well be the "good ol days" of the future.

Difference in coaching styles for sure. One thing they have in common, both are very effective.
And, although they did it differently, they both have build great locker room culture.
Vermeil just willed the Rams culture to change into a positive, tough, winning mentality.
McVay exudes it and won't accept anything outside of that approach. Going to start some drama.....youre gone.

If health goes our way... Watch out NFL. Because this team is indeed loaded.

Really like this staff as well. Leaders and motivators to a man. Gould has helped the Rams to deliver a backfield room that finally might be able to answer the bell in the playoffs and allow Stafford to have a ground game behind him when it matters most. Also was cool to see that Scheelhaus doubles as a camp arm heheh.

Here's to a fast start this year and maybe the Rams being in that mix for home field and a playoff bye.

100% agree with one wish (assuming good health):
-Add a CB and/or Edge before the trade deadline to add some juice to the defense for a deep playoff run.

Every time I think about our defense I get a huge smile on my face. I have a feeling (barring injuries) that our defensive group will be top 3 in the NFL this year, maybe even #1. There are a couple of question marks and hoping young players make the leap from year 1 to 2, but I have a feeling they're gonna be a wrecking ball this year.

GO Rams!

Corner is definitely the weakness, no doubt. Any game the rush has a down day we are gonna give up points. But maybe one of these dudes steps up.

You really have to pull for Kyren. The guy handled the contract negotiations perfectly - and I do mean perfectly; he has been a consummate pro; he leads by example; and how much sweeter is it that he is a life long Ram fan.

I'm pretty stoked about this year. Sunday can't get here soon enough.

I'm really hoping that it's not as big a weakness as many of us fear... in fact, maybe they'll be fine. And I definitely could see them adding one if the situation is right.. although they're not gonna spend draft capital like they have in the past. It would be a lower pick if they make a trade.

I'm actually buying that Witherspoon can be just fine.. just don't leave him on an island. Williams regressed last year.. and since his single biggest physical trait is his speed.. and at 32.. that can go. They're gonna need real contributions from Forbes and Durant.

What I'm hoping is that the pass rush is fierce enough to create more turnover opportunities for the DBs.. especially Durant and Forbes. Those guys have wheels and can make plays. If the defense can truly maximize the strengths of those two and minimize their weaknesses.. the Rams D will cook. I really think that having basically the entire defensive backfield back is a huge bonus.. the ability to mix coverages and make changes late because everyone is on the same page is HUGE, imo. And I think Shula and company are creative enough about their usage to make hay.

Go Rams!

I would have had him show me he can hold onto the rock this year, then paid him before the playoffs if that is the case. However I knew they were going to pay him, and I do understand it even though it's not how I would have approached it.

And yeah he's impossible not to root for. I get why they love the player so much and want him around.

I get that he fumbled a couple of crucial times in the Beagles game. Believe me. But this narrative that Kyren is a fumbler is a joke. If we are going to do that then let's relook at the "greatest Ram running back ever", Dickerson, who fumbled at triple the rate of Kyren. Literally.

Kyren ain't ED in talent. Don't get me wrong. But he has pretty good ball security, relative to the carries he gives us. And I bet he gets a little better this year.

I can see he makes no excuses and is determined to get better.
