Dont get this one....dont hate it, cause I kind of like the player, just thought the Rams didnt like him much do to the amount of snaps he got. Biggest question I have now is how are you going to use him in this offense.

I think McVay was dead serious about diversifying the contract. It's a low risk gamble on Atwell, who is a good team player. If it pans out, everybody wins.

I guess so, probably.

I never get too invested in the +/- of the money. They all make too much. Celebrities in general.

FA is expensive no matter how you slice it. It’s always ”too much” this time of year.

So. How do you feel about the player on the field? I think Tutu is a WR4 on any team.
That money could be spent on an ilb who would start and make our defense serious.

I mean the money is what it is....just remember what the Jags paid Kirk a few years ago. Whether we like it or not, this was Atwell's market for sure.

The part I am confused by is that IMO Atwell could have helped us LAST year. Our offense was fucking stagnant due to a lack of speed. So I just assumed his inability to block or something off the field had him in McVay's dog house. This seems to indicate otherwise....so I am very, very, very confused.
Great were justifying this because other teams signed bad free agent deals

Didn’t see that coming lol. One year only seems odd too. Maybe they plan on a 3rd round pick WR (not 26) and thus need a guy like Tutu to fill that spot immediately in 2026.

Definitely appears like we are going in a different direction WR and scheme wise - Kupp gone, more tutu, maybe more double TE.

I could now see a QB (Dart) at 26 as a real possibility.

You think Dart will be there @ 26? Lots of QB needy teams that might take a chance on the kid even tho he is kinda raw. He'd be a good prospect tho sitting behind stafford for one or two seasons to learn the system tho. Not sure I'd want to pick a QB in this draft class tho. They seem very mid.

Not really they couldn’t justify moving kupp out the slot with what he was making… I belive it
Nothing like confirmation bias. He didn't have yo take all the snaps but there's absolutely no reason he couldn't have gotten him snaps. He's the coach he decides who gets how many and what snaps and he calls the plays.
