Sorry. Means absolutely nothing.
Niners own us pure and simple.

Parse this and parse that, they beat the shit out of us every time we play.

And by the way, (and that NFC win was way sweeter to me than even the SB), DB no longer with the team doesn’t drop the int, we lose. Period.
Somehow that doesn't make me feel any less gratified.

IF.

IF Az doesn't fumble the punt in the WC game we might have gone all the way. That was a weak NFC field.

IF Lovie Smith calls a tighter defense against Brady we prolly win that one.

IF Goff hits Cooks in the end zone that SB might have been a different result.

IF don't take no shine off that win. It was the biggest game the Rams and Niners played since the 1989 CCG. And the Rams won it. Snatched victory from the jaws of defeat as the saying goes.

I loved the win. Pretty sure I said that in the post.
But it would have been a momentum swinger, and I think it would have changed the outcome.

Glad it didn’t.

Well now that you put it that way, as opposed to "we lose. Period!", it's a completely different slant. I know we're all glad he dropped it.

Will this make you feel better?

1 1/2 games out of first in the division, 7 games in, 10 to play including 2 against the division leader? No more 9er voodoo magic balls that fly to SF WRs on their butts with 5 Rams flying around?

Not for me. Not one bit. After four and one half decades of fandom, NOTHING can diminish the value of the two championship seasons.

i sure wish i could forget these losses and be happy with 2 sb in the last 4 and a half decades. it's just that lossing to the whinners makes hard to do maybe after a while i'll get over it but god i hate those sosan ( same old sorry assed niners )

I get it. But if we beat them 8 consecutive times in the regular season but, within that streak, they beat us in the NFCCG and went on to win the Super Bowl, I think you'd feel worse. I know I would.
