McKinley was a beast in college and he has 17.5 sacks in the NFL Does anyone think the Rams should pursue him? Only 8 games left and if he clears waivers Rams could sign him for a vet minimum deal....thoughts??
Also he has a Los Angeles connection in that he played at UCLA. Could be a match?

He hasn't been very good and he's been injured a ton. They tried to trade him before the deadline but it didn't look like he could pass a physical. Shame the guy had so much hype at the draft too.

I would prefer that Snead/ Mcvay keep "working in" rookie Terrell Lewis & Jachai Polite in with the starting trio of OLB'ers Floyd/ Hollins & Ebukam. I still think that Natrez Patrick has a future here too. I also believe that IR'd Og Okoronkwo will be able to return in mid-December.

IMO it's critical to get rookie Lewis up to speed & ready for the playoffs it would be best that Terrell Lewis take all the future Samson Ebukam snaps in this defense as possible.

Sounds like a headache:

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Monday that they have releasedformer first-round pick Takk McKinley.

The 25-year-old was in his fourth season with the Falcons after they selected him with the No. 26 pick out of UCLA in the 2017 NFL draft. The decision to release McKinley arrives after last week’s drama-filled trade deadline passed without the Falcons dealing the disgruntled defensive end.

McKinley chastised Falcons on Twitter
Last Monday — a day before the NFL trade deadline — McKinley tweeted that the Falcons had turned down multiple offers and did not intend to deal him.

After Tuesday’s trade deadline passed without McKinley being dealt, he once again tweeted about the Falcons turning down multiple trade offers over the course of two seasons. This tweet was accompanied by clown emojis.

Falcons fined McKinley, vowed accountability
Following that tweet, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the Falcons had fined McKinley for his social media posts. It also reported that McKinley’s claims about trade offers were “false.”

I had asked about him prior to the deadline. I'd take a shot. When the falcons pass rush was decent he was decent but these days or last two years the falcons have had nothing. Look at Fowler. Imagine Tak Ad Ashawn Brockers.....that's nice. I would definitely ck it out. Somebody had mentioned Beasley as well again we would never add both but everyone is better when they play with AD. So the pass rush would be fierce and it gives our young guys a bit more time to learn.

Most valuable is there playoff experience to that's not to be understated. Granted they know how to give up a wt 28-3 lead on a superbowl but they also know how to win. Teams would have a lot of problems talk about adding to a strength.

Sounds like an unprofessional dipshit. But I'm sure Grandma will still be proud of him when he's flippin burgers.
