Hi Guys, i would like to know what you guys think, are we an Underdog-Team? I just found out, that only the Jaguars have less fans on Facebook.

So are the L.A. Rams a Underdog Team? Or are we not? If so, why not? Because we play in a big market city?

Well, the facebook page might have something to do with the relocation to LA, did they start a new page when that happened?

But yes, we did have a shitty team for a LONG time, so its not like the bandwagon was full there.

I don’t think underdog has to do with the amount of fans. We are an underdog to the packers this week because they’re “supposed” to beat us just like Seattle last week.

More to your point, I would think it’s fair to say we have far less fans than the large fan bases.

The Rams moved to St. Louis and Rams fans in California had a decision to make. Be loyal to a fault and remain a Rams fan, or choose another team. They had three to pick from.
So there is a huge generation gap there. It will take a decade or more to reconstruct the fan base.

I believe part of the brighter colors on the uniforms was directed at the younger fans. Those younger fans will grow to have kids and restart the family tradition.

Rams are significantly bigger than Clippers and Chargers but they're also significantly smaller than Dodgers and Lakers in terms of popular LA fan bases. Would rank it like this:

Lakers
Dodgers
|
|
Rams
|
|
|
Clippers
|
Chargers

I'll give this team a few years to narrow the current gap with the Dodgers in terms of popular LA fan bases.
