Big test coming against Philly. They have that humongous Oline...and therein will be the test in the run game...not necessary shutting it down...but limiting the big runs.

The Rams have big WRs in Puka, and Adams...BUT...McVay can't forget the TE in this game. This is a better balanced team with a much better LB corps.

This is a measuring rod game, early in the season!!!

He was being thrown to on Stafford horrible pic as well. Was open and Stafford didn't get the ball over (likely didn't see him) the underneath cover guy.
It would have been a safety if the blocked point after was returned. Still, a nice hustle play by Ferguson.
Felt like that one was partially bad design, to have both routes close enough to allow the underneath defender to peel off and make the play. Also it was the defender making a good play, which happens.

Of course the QB always is where the buck stops on INTs. But that wasn't one of those head scratcher types where I want to choke Stafford lol.

I do not expect the Rams to bring in a corner but to promote one from the PS. That may depend on the severity of the collerbone injury. A fracture, a few weeks, a break that requires surgery....thats different perhaps.

I would certainly consider moving on from Parkinson (PS him despite his salary) to sign a CB.
I would think that Witherspoon goes to IR that would free up a roster spot.

Stafford had a far better game than the stat line showed because Adams dropped two TD passes.

The sun was DEFINITELY in his face.

We were there, disappointed he didn’t catch those, but the sun was brutal looking back the direction he was.

Brutal sunshine, until most of the 2nd half.

Yeah, the under route runner may have been out of position.

Per information by Gene - that was a legitimate call. He hit with his should going the opposite direction. That is an illegal play.

However, if I was a Titan fan - I would be pissed at the player for making that asinine block,

There was no need for that block other than to just get in the way.
Yeah, I heard him too.
To me it was borderline and its a shit rule anyway.
Soft ass football.

Imagine having to explain that to every HS and youth football coach. Yeah, I know, we used to get stickers on our helmets for hits like those.

Rules have changed to lengthen players careers. Worse then that, a bill was introduced to ban tackle football until at least HS in CA about five years ago, and then again in 2023.

It may be a shit rule but it is a rule. And the refs have to call it as is. But I agree that they should only call it when a player completely gets blown up from the blindside.

However, per the rules, to my eyes, it wasn't borderline at all. He used his shoulder to hit him. Can't do that.

I know only two games in, but this looks like a real good team that can go a long way. I look forward to a whole year of Stafford throwing dimes to Puka and Davante.

Byron Young becoming a dawg. Pro Bowl tenacity.
The NFL is a brutal sport, someone just posted that after our Old exQB went down the field for another game winning drive to beat Houston.
I’ll just say he showed toughness, like a Puka type players does.Making it through an NFL season, especially now SINCE it never really gets talked about is a 17 game season.

What will separate The Rams and other NFL Teams is there depth. The Rams have build this team to win the next 3 seasons.

Zero surprise with any of this.....its just not football.

Watched a couple of games of flag football here locally with kids, twelve to fourteen age range.
It was total shit.
Garbage "football" that will do little to help any of these kids transition to tackle football in high school.
Its a different sport, which is fine. To pretend it is a replacement for tackle football is nonsense.
