Question, is this something that he's dealt with since his college years or something that happened once he entered the NFL?

The article says they still expect him to play, but it's not a sure thing.

Fingers crossed this is being dealt with in an efficient manner and he is good to go by the beginning of the season. If not, Humphries can handle a few games for us.

Rams are doing their due diligence, which is good. A bad offensive line can wreck a season (see: 2022).

I'm so fuckin pissed about this. Dude hasn't had a whiff of the clot problem while gunning for that contract. Rams give it to him and guess what.

This is not a new issue for him. How did the team not prioritize ensuring this shit was in the rear view in their offseason planning.

I was assured by some that it wasn't an issue and he was past this.

Is there even a way to ensure that blood clots won't happen again?

I'm guessing that they really have no way of telling whether or not the issue is truly behind him. I also just found out that this blood clot issue just showed up in 22'. Which leads me to believe that something that league required him to take that is possibly to blame. Without turning this into a locked thread you can guess into what I'm referring to. As the FDA just released some bombshells.

Yeah I'm not gonna act like an internet doctor here. I admit I have no idea about his condition and the risk factors. My answer is put his oversized ass on blood thinners. But goddamn it is predictable, is it not, that this shit instantly arises right after the Rams sign him.
