Players and coaches want to be in LA.

There is an intrinsic value of being a part of this organization.

Many will take less to gain on the venue.

Showtime is alive and well in LA.

AD99 - I’m not sure the worth of a player? Do understand the showtime part & that ain’t forever.Kobe is a perfect example on the payback.Albert Pulhus to the Angels was pure silliness.Lebron James is Lebron

Cowherd always talks about the State Taxes of being a harder sell to some players.

Never really expected him to retire. But the thought of it made me nervous.

Erica seems awesome from the AD behind the scenes videos and everything.
Give us four more years Aaron, we'll give you three more Super Bowls. Four Rings plus a Gold Jacket in Canton.

ADs retirement talk was completely made up by the media. For some reason some fans keep talking about it. It makes my brain hurt

Seems like a waste to extend a guy who's retiring in a few weeks.

In all seriousness though, I think the retirement talk was taken way too far. I'm sure Donald was serious when he made mention of the possibility, but it was before playing in the Super Bowl. Emotions and decisions can change based on the outcome of that game. Glad to hear we're working on extension, Donald HAS to retire a Ram.

Well, this is what happened.

All the drama started when Donald met with NBC broadcasters during Super Bowl week. Before sitting down, he had an informal conversation with Rodney Harrison, one Donald calls “personal,” meaning between them. When the retired NFL safety joked that Donald might play 15 additional seasons, the defensive tackle responded honestly, answering for, he believed, an audience of one. “Honestly, you never know,” he responded. “This could be my last year.”

Harrison shared that sentiment on national television before the game, but Donald didn’t find out until afterward, when reporters asked him about it. “I wouldn’t expect [Harrison] to do something like that,” Donald says. “I wouldn’t want him to.”

He was a p.o.s. on the field and apparently one off the field. He is a whatever it takes to get ahead person which is fine unless you have to hurt other people in the process. Never liked the dude like him even less now.

After losing Von, I admit I am somewhat concerned about ADs returning. I do believe he is a man of his word. A big paycheck is likely the only way he returns now.

Apparently AD doesn’t know Rodney Harrison all that well….not well enough to tell him his personal business.

Losing Vonn really sucked. I’m disappointed in him. He said one thing and did another. He could have made up that money in endorsements in LA. I guess his agent figured signing with the Bills would mean he wouldn’t have to work as hard.

Anyway the other reason is that I want AD to get his fourth defensive player of the year award. Having Miller on the team may have been the best way for that to happen. Then the conversation of best defensive player of all time ends with the only 4 time DPOY in the NFL.

One reason AD should get a 4th DPOY in 2022 will be when voters see how Miller performs in Buffalo. If he gets 9 sacks (or less) on the season it'll be 4 straight years with less than 10 sacks......read: older, declining player.......and the best year of the 4 will be the year he played along side AD. Just like Fowler. Just like Floyd. Or Suh for that matter. The only time he's had 30 solos and 50 total tackles the last 5 years was the season spent on a line with AD. That's why AD is the perennial DPOY. He gets his numbers and he gets everybody else's numbers for them!!!!

Its quite possible Donald's comment to Harrison wasn't meant to say he's thinking of retiring. He coulda meant "You never know. I could play 15 years or this could be my last". As in we never know what our future holds. Kinda like when Kyle Shanahan said "I don't know if he'll be alive tomorrow". When someone says to me "You coming over tomorrow?" I say "As long as I don't get hit by a bus before then".

Didn't realize Floyd restructred. Does anyone know what our CAP siutation looks like now that he and Stafford redid his agreement? not a cap expert so just wondering how much in the positive we are now.
