How many times in the GSOT years or even in 2017-2018 did we shut the offense down in the 3rd quarter. It was pretty annoying and could have scored 50-60 or possibly 70 Burgers if we wanted to. But we took the high road.

There had to be some personal vendetta going on. Wouldn't be surprised, since AholeFace was at the Rx end of it.

Still a terrible look for Nerdboy. I can imagine he's going to get some calls this week.
I remember Martz trying an onside kick when the Rams were up by 24 in one game.

It's more like they didn't want to risk losing Faulk or Warner to injury in a game already decided.

Dolphins ran the ball almost every play in the 4th quarter. It's on the Denver defense not to give up 40, 52 or 67 yard runs or 68 yard TD passes. Brought it on themselves.

I always understood the don’t run up the score thing in youth sports so the kids don’t feel too bad. That made sense to me.

But to protect the feelings of the multimillion dollar professional athletes? I mean, if you’re making the case it’s to protect the health of your players fine. But to act like the broncos head coach is a big meanie is a joke.

Run the fucking score up!

These are highly paid athletes in a league built for parity. If you can lose by 50+ then you deserve to.

I just do not get this.

Does a boxer 10 rounds up back off for a round?

DO golfers with big leads miss putts intentionally?

Does a guy leading the Tor de France by 30 minutes stop for a nap?

Is Verstappen easing up on the rest of the sad sack Furmula One teams at the moment? Or is he trying to crush them?

Does a soccer team winning 7-0 not go for the 8th goal and utterly humiliate the home team.

Oh, wait a minute, that happened yesterday in the English Premiership.

And the talk isn't about how Newcastle ran the score up. but by how utterly inept Sheff Utd were in defending.

I say do what rugby does and bring in bonus points for scoring to act as tie-breakers and encourage more scoring.

Plus, ya know, it was Assface Ratface McFuckface, so fuck him and his fucked face fuckery.

I love the way I can vent on this board.

I'm still pissed at Asshole Face for allowing his crap team to let the Dolphins break a Rams yardage record that should never have been broken at this day and age of (supposedly, my bad) competent competitive NFL teams.

70 points surrendered by one team in a game in the present or future NFL is a travesty. Bunch of gutless lowlife quitters. Even the crappy winless teams in league history ('76 Bucs, '08 Lions) only gave up 49 and 48 points in one game respectively. I have lost all respect for this shitty Broncos team, having felt the same for Asshole Face several years ago.

dramatic rant over. :dizzy:

In youth football a 35+ pt lead goes to scrimmage. In high school (14-19 year olds) they’ll use a running clock in at least the 4th (no stoppages except injuries).

I’m all for the humiliation of Asshole Face, he deserves to finish that turd sandwich.

I remember hearing the fans cheer the big win Denver had on us in the pre season touting their coaches' go for it mentality.

He was hanging around LA a lot this past winter. I think he was licking his chops in hopes that McVay retires

This is MOST gratifying because HE called out the previous coaching staff (and the fact he is an asshole face). Wish the Fins would have hung 84 on his ass with 800 yards. Just because he won 1 Super Bowl after Katrina never did justify his supposed all-time ranking as on of the greatest coaches of his generation. He had Drew "Fucking" Brees, if anything they UNDER PERFORMED thru most of his Saints career. I think McVay would have won 3 or 4 Super Bowls with Brees at the helm all those years. He was and IS overrated, enough said!

In the pre-season, Payton was very critical of the 2022 Broncos' coaching staff; and was himself heavily criticized for going-over-the-line in being critical of peers (NFL Head Coaches). It got a lot of National media attention; and Payton walked-back his comments the next day.

We have some posters that believe strongly in Karma (personally, it's one of those things I HOPE is real). Regardless, I have heard/read a couple of Karma-related comments last night and today.

Ass face sure looks pretty puckered these days. I guess a 41-0 rout against 3rd and 4th stringers doesn't make you a great team.

OMG, I just saw the Broncos play the Bears next week.. could there be a worse game to watch? It's such a dumpster fire of a matchup I almost want to watch it for the train wreck mentality of it. Thankfully the Rams play at the same time to save myself from doing something stupid.

I chose the Chiefs in survivor because they were playing the Bears. Who is playing the Jets this week?

The Dolphins went to the ground game after opening up a 4-score lead. They piled up 350 rushing yards and 4 TDs.

This is all on the Broncos for playing so bad that a team running the ball almost every down still scored instantly!

Remember when we played the Jets in 2016? Hekker was the best player in that 9-6 win.

But they were still playing starters in the 4th quarter that I could see.

Do you really want to take a chance that one of your starters are going to get hurt with that type of lead.
