The 49'er back-up LT to Trent Williams, 5'th round draft pick Colton McKivitz, made his first career start on November 29, 2020, lining up at right guard and playing all 72 of the 49ers offensive snaps in a 23-20 win over our Rams. Let's not dismiss him.

I was extremely worried about Note's play but he played a good game vs ARI. I hope he stays healthy and it continues!

Eh, if I could magically improve one side of the ball it would be the offense. The Bills are the only team that made our D look soft and incapable. It’s a league set up for offense. This isn’t the 80’s or 90’s. Teams are going to move the ball and score.

Otoh, I feel like THIS offense should be able to get 5-7 yards whenever it wants…yet the execution and sometimes the play calling is head scratching to me.

I expect the Rams to become more and more dialed in as the season progresses, and learn some humbling lessons along the way as well.

This weeks Niners game is kinda huge. Rams will be in the early drivers seat if they win. 3-1(2-0)

Will someone please check Floyd for a pulse, he seems to have disappeared somewhat.
Despite all of the hype, Floyd hasn't done much for a very long time. Frankly, he's overrated.

You may note that in the Cards game, Lewis got his sack while attacking from Floyd's usual spot.

When was the last time that Floyd had a sack or even made an impact in a game?

He's very replaceable.

Joes run blocking was very good against the Cardinals. If he continues to show he can do that then he’ll be out of my doghouse:laugh3:

The Cards are not particularly strong on the edges though. So I’m not going to crown him yet.

I am loving Benny Skow at FB. Great move by McVay!

The Rams look sloppy on offense. Dropped TDs by both Kupp and A-Rob. An Akers fumble. And these are just the mistakes by our bigger names. This game should have been a blow out. I am confident the offense will clean things up... but yikes.

The rag-tag, injured offensive line continues to look quite good! The Cardinals have some decent pass rushers. Jackson is proving he deserves a starting spot. How huge would that be to be able to address the interior and get some size at guard with him?

Really good showing by our emergency reserves in the secondary. They played very well considering how shorthanded they were. Ramsey had an amazing game. Where are all the haters now?

I don't think any team in the NFL contains Kyler Murray as well as the Rams do.

I am admittedly worried about the 49ers. With Jimmy G, they almost exclusively use short passes to attack the middle of the field. With our #3 safety and #2, #3, #4, and #5 CBs out :injury:... I am not sure how we can defend that consistently to any great effect. We will need our defensive front to dominate this game, not only winning their match-ups, but winning them very quickly. That will be a gigantic task, because San Fran always has Jimmy G getting rid of the football in what feels like 2 seconds or less vs. the Rams, in order to try and contain Aaron Donald. The offense better have the kinks ironed out by Sunday, because we might need to bail the D out. If the O wants to announce it is back in 2022-23, now would be the perfect time for a statement game.
Jimmy G. Is going down.

Boom has looked good vs easy draws the last two weeks. Now he has Bosa coming so hope he is ready to show what he can do.

Nice thing about getting Von week one is everything is downhill after him. :laugh1:

Bosa usually lines up on the left side of the Defense, so he figures to be mostly matched-up against Havenstein.

Exactly...ATL didn't necessarily have a dominant pass rush either. I was hoping that would've been his coming out game but he struggled in a lot of the reps i saw. There were plenty of plays where I saw Lorenzo Carter driving him into Stafford's lap which still worries me...

I still think AJ Jackson is the guy at LT...

I'm no 9er authority but he was on Whit plenty during our matchups. If I'm Shanny his ass is gonna be on Boom plenty.

If you have the NFC Championship Game on tape and watch it, you will see that Nick Bosa lined-up exclusively on the left-side of the Defense. Bosa was over Havenstein on every snap he was in the game. Seriously, every snap. He was not over Whitworth for a single play.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be a Dick here.
We have a poster who insists on stating his opinions as facts; and it makes me a little crazy because some of his statements are just not factually accurate.

I'm no authority but I am a little maniacal. I have watched the NFC Championship Game too many times to be considered normal. In fact, I SO DO NOT want to be the guy who thinks his opinions are facts that I just spent 15 minutes fast forwarding through all the Rams' offensive plays in that Game before posting this reply.

I don't have the other two 2021 Rams/Niner games on tape because I re-watch losses once or twice and then erase them. Like I said above ... Maniacal. Maybe Bosa was over Whitworth in the two Regular Season losses but then why wouldn't the Niners play him at all on the right-side in the NFC Championship? And, of course, the 49ers could game-plan Bosa on the right against Noteboom next Monday.

Cherry pick it. How about NOT like the Rams vs Bills in week one 2022.

OK. So you can 'Cherry Pick' one game (the Bill's game) to make your point but I can't "Cherry Pick' one game (Bucs' game) to make my point. Got It.

I think it was Socrates who said 'He who Cherry Picks alone, is truly a lonely man'.

Maybe it wasn't Socrates. Plato! Yes, definitely Plato.

Damn it… I KNEW you were a closet 49’er fan.
