No worries, I just like to discuss back and forth so if I don't always address a specific question sometimes lol.....I try to but I got caught up in the subject at hand. I know you aren't defending him but I'm mostly questioning the thought process of Snead and McVay in that one. While I understand they can't be perfect, when they miss, it hurts because of the picks we've traded away. It's brought us a championship which I'll always be grateful for, but it definitely has its pros and cons.
I don’t have any issue with the concept of going after a very fast playmaker there.

They just didn’t draft a good one.

If they did that, wow would that have been a home run of a draft, probably wouldn't have had to sign Robinson in that case.....wonder if us losing Brad Holmes is catching up to us a bit?

Jesus. Did I not say they made a bad pick?!???!

I asked if he was wrong to want more speed on offense.
I figured you meant just bad pick in your post. Whereas i was emphasizing not only was it a bad pick but it was also a bad philosophy in picking a guy that small just because he has great speed and moves.

If I misread your post, I apologize.

I'd disagree on the philosophy part.. because I think the philosophical part was getting a player to stretch the field.

But I can also see what you're saying... it should be any team's policy to think about drafting someone *historically* small for the position.

If Tutu had 20 pounds on him.. I would have much less of an issue.. with that, you could at least see him being a returner or threat on run plays.. at 165 he's just not.

Just difference in opinion on how I view Philosophical and how you view Philosophical

No biggie on that end

I hate to say it but this might be an 8-9 win team, y’all. Players that we all were relying upon are struggling mightily.
I think the potential is closer to 9-8 or possibly 10-7 (I hope the latter). In any event, either result will almost guarantee a ticket to the playoffs.
