Has to be better than AstroTurf. I was on the "field" in the Seattle Kingdome for a non sports event and seen it all rolled up on the sidelines. On top of plain ol cement. That stuff was about 1 1/4" thick at the most. Taking a hard hit and betting driven into that stuff had to be terrible. Jim Zorn must have hated it.

This stuff is so advanced that I'm sure it's comparable to the real thing. Also Demarco mentioned it's a very fast surface which I am looking forward to.
One thing I do wish they'd do is make the turf more of a natural green color. Some of them have so much grey in them that when you look at the turf compared to a real grass field the difference is night and day.
