This is what they had to say about the QB situation:

Fisher: "Sam is our starter. We have all the confidence in the world that he'll be back, but we also have the responsibility to continue upgrade this roster, as it would suggest we're interested, if the right guy is there to help in a backup role to Sam then we're going to make sure we've done our due diligence"

- Is it too outside the box to draft a quarterback at #2 or is it closer to the box?

Snead: "We're in the rectangle. I think at any point with your football team you try to do what's best."

- Are you shopping Sam?

Fisher: "We are not Shopping Sam"

- Is it inconceivable that something could happen today that Sam is your QB and you haven't shopped him, to Thursday where you could shop him?

Fisher: "Well anything can happen, but it's highly unlikely. We've identified 6 to 8 players that potentially could fit us at 2 and gone on to the additional process at 13. It's a challenge, You don't want to get consumed with one pick and get caught off guard with the other. We've got a couple different scenarios"

Snead on Manziel: "You sit down and meet with the kid, you can tell he's intelligent. He's engaging. He's passionate about football."

Fisher on Manziel: "He is Competitive and his production speaks for itself"

Fisher: "We're hearing there are a number of clubs between us an 13 that need quarterbacks."

Snead on the possibility of making a trade: "We're still flirting, but no body has asked me to the prom yet."

Snead on Sammy Watkins: "If he's winning the horse race, it's for a reason. But he's not up by two horse lengths."

Does anybody else have a problem with understanding what Snead is saying. I'm pretty stupid, but I can't be the only person who thinks half the things he says don't make much sense.

He likes to speak in analogies. Sometimes broken analogies.
But I understood everything he was saying up there. Which was basically evasion 101.

For example, if Sam decides to cut his own arms off for fun... he's gone.

did anyone really think they were going to announce during the press conference

"Yeah, Bradford is done here, we are taking Manziel with the 2nd pick"

maybe they are interested in him or maybe they are throwing up the proverbial smoke screen to make the #2 pick that much more valuable in a trade scenario

but what do I know, I dont follow the draft LOL

I would love to do one of these Pressers.

I would start out by saying...

"I want you to listen to me very closely. I did not have sexual relations with that QB, Johnny Football."

If you like your QB, you can keep your QB. Period

I guess that would mean Bradford is done.
