I think for a short period when they were in St Louis it actually WAS the shecocks that was the big rivalry. We were built to beat them - not the whiners.

It was pretty short lived in the grand scheme of things. Now the earth is back on its axis and the whiners are back to most hated status.
I don’t think the rivalries go away. The niners are always the hated ones, even back when the Saints made a couple runs. They had one of the TOP LBer groups of all-time back in the day.
-I get what your saying, then again all of a sudden in the early 2000 they became a pain in the butt.Green Bay has beaten The Rams now how many straight even when demoff went cry to the nfl about playing in GB.That home loss was devastating in 2024.How Mcvay’s players did what they did after such a bad start was INSANE!!

The 7-8 season to win the division against sea chickens was SAD.Those straight last away games to end a couple seasons with the 12th man stunk.

Still until the greatest show on Turf I suffered through 19 straight games in the 90’s. Also as an SC fan losses to ND & UCLA almost every season. SO I don’t know how that ever goes away unless you want to forget about it.

There used to be Starbauk & Fran each year in the 70’s-80’s.Still it was always the niners. —SO maybe it wasn’t in state.

Those Raider Rams games got bloody.A lot of FIGHTS !! It got real BAD & Violent for a football game.
Extra security was always added.

Kupp heralded a new era and the return of the modern passing game to the Rams offense. As I recall he scored the first preseason TD for the Rams in 2017. Their first passing TD of the regular season, the game winning TD which won the division that year and also our only playoff TD all as a rookie.

The Stafford - Kupp connection was preternatural and the best I've ever seen from a Ram QB and WR. Wasn't a defense in the league that could stop them.

Left a fine legacy here and the Rams should definitely honour him when his career is done.
