I don’t agree with any of them. The young guys still have a lot to prove and Murray is to inconsistent.

That list is too early and two generous. I guess they are struggling for content until games start.

Murray is going in to his 7th year, Herbert his 6th, neither guy has won a playoff game. Both guy seemed to have regressed from when they came in to the league. Love going in to his 6th year and also seemed to regress.
Elite? Stroud was great as a rookie, stepped back as a 2nd year, will see what year 3 holds. As for Daniels? Stroud is the example of not jumping too soon on a player's band wagon.
Elite to me is HOF bound type players Mahomes/Allen/Burrow, I dont see any of those 5 joining this short list
And yes, Stafford is Elite and HOF bound, but not included because we're talking over the next 5 years or so

it's funny, their games are so different but I can't help comparing Herbert to Philip Rivers, great QB but just never elite. Can't will a team to a win. You watch what he can do with the football and how he can activate everything on the field with his arm strength, touch and accuracy but there's still something missing. Harbaugh seems to have been good for him so far....

Herbert just doesnt do it for me, even back to his college days. Rivers in my mind was a sniper and unfortunately ran in to the Patriots a bunch of times in the playoffs. I see what you're saying but at least he won 5 playoff games, 4 in his first 5 years where Herbert hasnt won one yet in 6 seasons, blowing a 27-0 lead in 1 game and throwing 4 picks in a 2nd loss

I remember reading on X/ Twitter not long ago, some Squatters fans were actually talking about Herbert being THE biggest sports star in LA. And yes that includes ALL sports. Talk about delusional.
I vote we kick them out of our stadium and send them back where they belong.

This is a silly title... more appropriate: 'Will any of these QBs ever become elite?' Then remove JD (and Stroud) given short time in the league and clear potential. They would be on a completely different list.

Then you could pick from about 15 other guys in the league to fill out the full 5.

Yeah great point about playoffs

My two fantasy QB's are Jayden Daniels (Keeper) and Jordan Love. Been in this league for 30 years (we started it with paper) and have won Ten Titles. Kids were involved early because they knew if I won, it meant more Christmas Presents and now the Grandchildren are on board too.
The keeper league I am in I joined back when it was on paper as well, 25 years ago or so.
Now have players on the east coast, west coast, rockies, Sierra Nevada and the Deep South.
12 teams spread all over.
Its fun and after a quarter century or so finally won my first title last year.....haha.
NOW, I can rest on my laurels.

That is awesome, what is nice about this particular league is we still meet in person although a couple of the guys now reside down south (lucky them) and they either come back because we always do the draft on Labor Day (Thank you Grover Cleveland) or virtual as all of us have our devices of our choice we utilize during the draft and we hold at a Marriott most of the time.

The guys are brothers and my wife was in the league for several years too (two titles) however, now it has passed down to father & sons, however, this year one of the new fantasy managers is the eldest grandson of our commissioner. i look forward to pass the torch to my grandson Max eventually as he is 3 so maybe a few more years until he is ready. ;)
