I want on 2nd down for the receivers catching the ball a couple of yards in front of the 1st down (Higbee) to just go straight for the first down not go around a guy trying to get more yardage and come down short. If I see another QB sneak I am going to break my TV.

I want to see some deep shots. Tutu is out there a lot but gets no targets.
Well...lets hope McVay does it. I really irks me how he'll forget Tutu as well as the TE in the passing game. I wonder does anyone use the TE as little as the Rams in the passing game.

It shocked me against the Colts last week, when in the 4th qtr he went to the TE about 3 times straight. I thought I was dreaming...:laugh2:

I really think it is more on Stafford. The announcers quoted Stafford saying something like McVay can call them, I can't always throw them.

yeah this is what i was worried about... seems like mclendon was pretty bad when he played last year.
I think he played a bunch out of position on the left side (if I recall correctly). Likely will play better at his natural position. And again, Big Rob had a pretty bad game last weekend. All McClendon has to do is play average.

What I don't understand on our QB sneaks is this, why not just have Kyren hike the ball and push forward? I promise you he would have more success then Stafford has. In that formation, your not fooling anyone with the play call anyway.

McVay or Stafford? McVay sets the table for Staff to eat. He may make suggestions but doesn’t tell Staff what to eat.

Right now our middle Oline not exactly road graders. I would spread it out instead of drawing the DLine in close. With Stafford under center you can do anything. Even a sneak if the Dline is aligned right. If not you can run Kyren or fake the run. Anything. When you line up like you are going to run a sneak or a dive this line is 50/50. Maybe less.

I want to shit stomp the Whiners. I want all the Whiner fans to look like they are attending a funeral service after we kill em. Send the escalator gang back home sad as fuck so they are ashamed to wear there shit when I get back home :laugh3:

I’ve been thinking about the complete absence of trick plays from McVay. I remember an attempted pass from Kupp(?) to Stafford recently.

I wonder if Nacua can throw a football….
The dude is getting an overwhelming amount of attention and touches all over the field. I feel like a Nacua bubble screen option pass to Tutu could be a thing of beauty.

The Rams run that screen to Nacua all the time. Put the usual suspects out wide right(Nacua, Adams, TE) and send Tutu on a deep crosser on the other side of the field.

Point is, the lack of trick plays is weird.

The 9r forum is cooking today!!! :laugh3:

34-16 Rams unfortunately.

---------------
43-9 Rams

---------------
Might as well sit every player that is questionable.
-- Every player is questionable. So we're f**ked regardless

---------------
Matt Stafford vs Mac Tonight

---------------
Only way the 49ers have a sliver of a chance to win is if Stafford goes out after his first TD, Nacua exits shortly after and 2 of their key D guys go out by halftime. We literally have no WR's except Robinson, who has limited practice. I don't even count Bourne after he was key in forfeiting @ least +3 and giving +7 to JAX.

Stafford is going to have time to grill burgers back there. This season they're playing with house money so just take it in stride and expect the beat down.

---------------
So who's playing WR. Put me in coach!!!

---------------
We are also lucky that we will have homefield advantage and we won't be dealing with the challenges of an "away" crowd

---------------
#Rams — 72% chance to win
#49ers — 28% chance to win

28%?
Weren't we SB favorites like 3 weeks ago? I remember those days, good times lol

---------------
Who we got left? A corpse? What? You mean the corpse is out, too?

---------------
We are gonna get blown the f**k out.

Huh? These stats don't look right to me. We have been doing a darn good job stopping the run.
Yeah. The guy is a whiner homer so he’s twisting stats to back a narrative that is more wishful thinking than anything else. Pretty funny that he thinks this defense is soft.

SF will park Huff over him. Huff is a major mismatch for McClendon.

This means TE will be tied up. And someone on SF is freed up.

I forget who (LaFleur maybe) recently was praising Puka saying “he can do everything but throw.”

Now if he had said that the QB can throw it up for grabs to his tall receivers before the line gets to him, they will have a good chance at catching the ball.

I would agree with him.

Our CBs are too short against tall receivers. We really need to look into seeing what CBs are available at the trade deadline and maybe a center as well. Getting Shelton was wishful thinking that he could do a decent job.
