Small observation for some of the older guys.
The Al Clark photo from above. I would bet that is from the 1973 pre-season.
When the Rams changed their uniforms for that season, the initial player photos reflected numerals that had a white border. However, when the season started the white outline/border was not there.
I always have wondered about this. The game photo of Clark above is the first time I recall seeing the white border in a game photo.
As I type this, I realize I may need to get-a-life.

He did lots of dirty work that doesn't show up on the stat sheets. Plus... when he did get his hands on the ball... he was clutch. He made some big plays for us.
