Running the ball, not missing tackles and avoiding big pass plays in coverage breakdowns.
The missed tackles are probably the biggest change in our D since the first half of the year. Happens at an alarming rate.

As tough as the Rams have proven themselves to be, they’re still human. They have got to be wearing down, physically. The seahawks have every conceivable advantage going into this game— except one.

1) Stafford has to be on fire. On FIRE! Quick reads to identify who the best option is gonna be on every pass. 300+ yards. If the Rams are going to the SB, he’s gonna take us there.
2) chunk plays. Having to grind out long drives will be tough on both offenses. A few big plays, hopefully TDs can keep the pressure on, forcing a passing game. Advantage Rams.
3)STs/field position. Between the offense limiting 3 and outs and “smart kicking”, Rams are gonna need to keep the seahawks pinned down. Long drives will eventually lead to big plays by our defense.

Slow down Walker while hitting Darnold hard and often, finally don't allow them to make any big returns on special teams. Wait did I just say this yesterday.
Would like to see a more efficient passing game. Stafford is only completing 52% of his passes in the post season which is surprising. I hope to see McVay get the TE's back involved more consistently.

1. No kick returns for Shaheed - there ARE going to be situations where a punt return is possible, so will need our punt team to bring their A game (i.e. I don't really want to gift them starting field position at midfield if we can avoid it)

Don't get behind the sticks - we can say convert 3rd downs, but the truth is, we are much better converting 3rd and shorts than 3rd and longs (as most teams are), but in this game 3rd and longs are going to be virtually impossible to convert given how we've bee playing on 3rd down most of the year

From reading in between the lines of what McVay has said over the past few days, as well as what was discussed on the latest episode of Between the Horns, it sounds like the game plan was to run the ball a lot vs Chicago. But they were presenting us with defensive looks that forced us to check out of run plays. The problem is we just had a lot of protection break downs when we got into these pass plays. Plus, Stafford missed some throws and the conditions kept WRs from being able to create separation.
I definitely think there are a few calls McVay wants back, specifically the 3rd and 1 toss to Corum and the run play called at 2:07 right before the 2MW. But I think he was more disappointed in the offensive execution than the pass/run imbalance.
