What's really entertaining is when your millenial era kids talk mad shit about kids these days. That's not good news because I live my life to please them.
That percentage (31% of 1086 plays) amounts to 336 plays with 13P. But if we take out the first 6 games (367 offensive plays) since they didn't run 13P until week 7, it's 46.7% with 13P from week 7 to week 18.An interesting tidbit from Shatz.....
The Rams used 13P 31% of the time in 2025 (and they didn't use it once prior to week 7). Since 2010 the second highest usage of 13P was the 2021 Cleveland Browns (17%) and third was 2024 Steelers (15%). That 31% is almost double the Browns and more than double the Steelers.
IMO, he's a replacement for Higbee in a year or two. Allen is probably the best blocker in the TE room. Klare has been compared to Ferguson, not Allen. They're both more like Higbee than Allen. But Allen is in the last year of his rookie dealI think Klare is a Davis Allen replacement more than anything else..
Allen won't be back next year. Too many other priorities which is why they added Klare and a bunch of UDFA TE's that they plan to stash on the PS.IMO, he's a replacement for Higbee in a year or two. Didn't some think the same about Higbee at the end of the season last year?Allen won't be back next year.
Not the same. Career TE receptions leader for this organization, team leader, taking a cheap deal. A team will overpay for Allen just because he was in this offense.Didn't some think the same about Higbee at the end of the season last year?

I don't know. You guys are probably right but Snead won't just let him walk without trying to sign him. After all... they will be losing Higbee and Parkinson and their contracts so the TE room may not be that expensive. My guess Snead will allow Davis Allen to test the market. If they can sign him for 5-6 mill per year (2 years...10 guaranteed?), He played very well last year and is a valuable piece in Mcvays 13 personnel and would be again next year. And the Rams might not be so comfortable having just 2 experienced TEs on the roster. How the young guys play this year will be the biggest factor in their decision. On the other hand... many teams are copying the Rams so their tight ends might be in strong demand on the open market. Not the same. Plus, they have probably had few offseasons like this upcoming offseason, where they will have so many good players to re-sign. Allen will just not be a priority.
Yeah, it could come down to if they decide Parkindon is too expensive, then maybe they try to keep Allen.I don't know. Higbee signed a two-year contract in March, so now, only Parkinson and Allen will be free agents amongst the TE room.they will be losing Higbee and Parkinson and their contracts so the TE room may not be that expensive.
True but the 2nd year is $3 million no guarantee. Could really just be a last hurrah for him and he's gone after winning another SB.Higbee signed a two-year contract in March, so now, only Parkinson and Allen will be free agents amongst the TE room.
Agree for sure. That may be the likely scenario. But just pointing it out because we can't assume he won't be back next year.True but the 2nd year is $3 million no guarantee. Could really just be a last hurrah for him and he's gone after winning another SB.

It could certainly go a lot of different ways. Rams signed Parkinson as a developmental shot, first year he was meh, last year much better. Allen's done some good things, doesn't look to be as good an athlete as the others but has good hands. It probably comes down to who can make the most progress and improve, that and price point where they might try to ink the one they like best.I don't know.
