The Rams are trying to help AD find the fire.I'll bet AD and the Rams are working out the parameters.

Damn I hope so!I'll bet AD and the Rams are working out the parameters.
Bigger than Poona.I'm curious to see how many snaps Tim Keegan gets. He's a stout dude, taking on a lot of double teams so the LB's can eat.
We played a ton of nickel last year and we led the league in dime. That's only going to increase with the additions of McDuffie and Watson. Will the Rams be in a perpetual nickel Defense? Only one LB? Only two IDL? I see blitzes from the secondary because the talent is there to cover.
Yes, Rams played a ton of dime with Jaylen McCullough playing dime-backer and playing it quite well. In essence, nickel but with JM at the other LB spot or in a typical DB position. We played a ton of nickel last year and we led the league in dime. That's only going to increase with the additions of McDuffie and Watson.
Get your best 11 on the field as often as possible. Our base with two ILB isn't our best 11.

I would expect it's McDuffle at field. Watson at boundary. Lake in the slot. You know who at both safety spots and McCulough at dimebacker with Landman at MLB. Though I wonder if there will be times with Lake playing safety from depth and taking over Kinchens spot and McDuffie moving into slot. Then the question becomes who plays field CB.“Our best eleven…”
I’m curious what that looks like.
What is a good example of a nickel and dime defense with this influx of talent?
Lake/Curl - safety, McD - slot, Watson - Boundary, Forbes - field CB?Though I wonder if there will be times with Lake playing safety from depth and taking over Kinchens spot and McDuffie moving into slot. Then the question becomes who plays field CB.
Lake/Curl - safety, McD - slot, Watson - Boundary, Forbes - field CB?
That's my guess.
My guess exactly. The lineup I posted is when McD moves to the slot.Kinchens to the bench?
I’m guessing
Kinchens/Curl - safety
Lake - Star
McD - Moving between Slot and Outside
Watson - Outside
Forbes rotating
Tell Snead & Co, to find some more kindling in that wallet...The Rams are trying to help AD find the fire.

I don’t see $$ being a hurdle. Donald being more of a role player should temper his expectations on any back breaking contract. Donald being an on field and off field force will ensure the Rams more than fairly compensate him (and maybe reward him well with some performance bonuses).Tell Snead & Co, to find some more kindling in that wallet...
That'll start a fire!!![]()
Not by much.Bigger than Poona.
Definitely not "word salad" as our humble Memento claimed.Nice write up Memsie. Good to show the defense some love. I can’t wait to see them put it on the field.
Nobody rambles like So Ram but I enjoy his rambling. It was admittedly rambling about every player on the D. Not rambling to the extent of our beloved @So Ram , but a lot of rambling thoughts, nonetheless.![]()
Well said.Nobody rambles like So Ram but I enjoy his rambling.
He's just one of the many facets in the diamond that is....
Rams on Demand.![]()
Does he even make the roster ??Not by much.
a couple inches taller.....which, given the position and style of play may not be an advantage. Weight is basically a wash.
Keenan is a 7th round pick. He is in for a fight to make the roster. Learning his craft etc behind someone similar like Poona is a big advantage.
He has a long, long, long way to go to take anything but rotational snaps away from Ford.
