A vet minimum deal that's not guaranteed that can easily be moved on from. He's a body that will soon be part of the 90 man camp roster I wouldn't read a lot into it.

Well he is our backup kick returner and performed pretty good for spot duty.
Do they though? That doesn’t make sense either. When you kick it out of bounds now it goes to the 40. Why would that change because you kicked from the 50? If that is how they are doing it, what brainiac came up with THAT shit?
Yeah, something about if the ball is kicked out of bounds, the penalty is enforced on the spot of the ball, so out of bounds equals 40-15=25. If the ball is a touchback, it automatically goes to the 35 per the rule.
I think…my recollection is spotty on this
Well I looked up his stats last year and he carried the ball for 5.1 yards a carry.
Also team continuity.

Of course you bring Rivers back. Why make a hole in the roster. They have Hunter and who ever they bring in thru various offseason avenues. If they find someone better he gone.
I'm hearing the Cowboys were impressed with our secondary last season signing all of our old CBs. He should give them a call too.

They don't have Hunter. My guess is he gets cut in camp. ZERO snaps last season, not even on ST's or garbage time. Something is seriously wrong with him. I'm thinking they just didn't want to cut TWO guys they moved up in the draft for in the same season (him + CPII).
Well, I'm hoping they just wanted to redshirt him. They already have two very good backs in Williams and Corum so why risk activate him... why not let the rookie grow up a bit (get some NFL experience) and if there's an injury... then they can activate him. Or...maybe he couldn't block, but he sure can run. I think we'll find out what he has this preseason. I am still hopeful, although I don't think he's gonna be the next Marshall Faulk or Eric Dickerson.
Rams had a strong depth chart at RB last year. Let's see how he looks after his second camp.

Ok, but then why did they move up in the draft to pick him? to literally ride the pine for an entire season? behind even Rivers?
I hope you're right. But maaann, not even 1 reg season snap in 2025? (he did get a few in pre-season)
