Or maybe Rams are trying to get WR needy teams nervous (like SF or BUF) to get their WR before the draft. Leaving one less team competing for a top WR in the draft.

He allegedly signed a 5 year extension which puts him under contract for 6 seasons. If Stafford retires after 2026, how is that in the middle?
