Again, he just locked in for an additional 5 years, I doubt retirement is in consideration.

They just traded for a 25 yr old CB and Curl is only 26 I think. So not sure why you think this is just for one year.
For as smart as Beane thinks he is, he should have known not to have Rapp cover deep areas. He struggled badly in this area as a Ram.
Tavon Austin replacement? LOL I guess we have been searching for that elusive replacement for 9 years now, and he was terribly mediocre at best. Kinda think and hope you meant Tutu, cuz it sure makes more sense.
I think he actually played pretty well in Buffalo but he just had a real hard time staying healthy. I think Bills fans actually really liked him.

Just a couple years ago, Taron Johnson was viewed as one of the NFL's premier Nickel-CBs, playing in the slot.
As far as Crosby goes, I have to wonder if we have that veteran leadership we had when we brought in Miller. We don’t have a Donald type player that I think would be all in on something like this but maybe that doesn’t matter. I have my doubts this is the direction they would go with this young defense.
