I agree with going for multiple receiver this off-season whether through trades or the draft. Our receiving core is just way too bare bones past Davante/Puka. Whittington just hasn’t lived up to expectations and Konata needs way more time to develop.
I think Whitt has met expectations. It's just some people had slightly outsized expectations for him once he got a little success. He is what he is. I think he's a useful 4th receiver who can back up most receiver spots, add some blocking and even running to team but miscast as a 3rd WR or a regular at F.

Count me as interested. We can get this guy relatively cheap, have him as #2/3 Receiver with Davante, and draft all defense in Round 1.

How about Khalil Mack as a piece to rotate with Verse & Young? They were talking about him on NFLN as a guy who is desperate to get to the SB. Wonder if he would be interested in heading across town to play for a team friendly price to try to get a ring with the Rams?

Missed 4 games last year, but finished with 5.5 sacks and 11 QB hits. Probably could be very effective splitting time with Young, Verse, and Stewart. Also adding some maturity to young defense.

Agree.
When he was drafted, i thought he was supposed to be an upgrade from skow—STs ace with a little more offensive output. He’s doing fine.

I would like to see a few more passes go his direction because I want to see if he can break one, but I have never envisioned him as being extremely vital to the success of this offense.

…but that’s the problem right now. The Rams need a third option who is reliable and dangerous. There are potential players on the roster who currently are not there in their development. Drafting one would be significant.

I wouldn’t mind taking a look at mack halfway through the season (or even later) for the home stretch, but I wouldn’t sign him to play 20-21 games this year. I wouldn’t mind taking a fresher, hungry mack rolling into playoffs.

I'd love Khalil Mack if the price is right. The defensive line could use a productive vet presence, as well as a bit more depth.
